Captian America, Thor and Spiderman are very Patriotic!
The original ones were!
Captain America was always a massive, bloated government boondoggle anyway. The military has had that super serum for nearly 70 years, and they only inject it into one guy?
Thor is patriotic? To whom? Asgard?
The modern liberals at the helm of Marvel Comics (a company that in the 1990s was owned by Bill Clinton’s pal) turned the whole story of Captain America into racist revisionist history.
The story of the meek/weak guy being turned into the Super Soldier “Captain America” was turned into a story of America’s “hidden” racism.
The retrocontinuity story was written that poor black men were the “original” Captain Americas but given the experimental formula while the kinks were being worked out.
Marvel Comics sucks and is antiAmerican. Screw their politics and screw their propagandists.
See post #5.
“No Government in my Medicare” is a nod to Barack Obama’s knock at those who say “Americans don’t want Socialism”.
We can’t CALL it socialist but the lying liberals know it is.
I guess what doctors say about steroids having the bad side effect of damaging a person’s reasoning ability is true!
Notice how they made the protagonists handsome, athletic and sensible, while the protestors look like unwashed low-lifes.
I just looked up Marvel and read that they were recently bought by Disney.
Captain America died. I don’t know who this charlatan is.
I don’t know...My brother use to collect his comic books in the 60’s..I thought he was, but then again I spent my time reading Archie, Veronica and Jughead...:)
I was always a DC fan myself.
I have seen many interviews on the alphabet newsinfos that pointed out this very message.
The comments are the Tea party is mostly old white angy people,,,,ie, racists
STan Lee how low you have sunk
I read a Bronze Age Captain America comic book last summer where the Patriot (I think that was his name) wanted to attack or destroy the UN because he was pro America and they made him out to be a nut. In the end Captain America stops him and saves the UN.
And that comic is about 30 years old.
I don't know if it's been this way for decades, but certainly in the last 15 or more years, superhero franchises - both in comics and in cinema - have been nothing short of in-kind contributions to the DNC. We had Superman shedding everything American - the very thing that made Superman so popular in the '40s - in his last movie installment. The X-Men franchise is a thinly veiled propaganda piece about so-called gay rights. And, now we see a decidedly and overtly liberal Captain America. For the leftists in America's big-entertainment complex, everything they touch is an opportunity for them to advance their agenda - everything has a political message and purpose.
Remember that the next time you think about dropping $5K to take the family to Disney World.
Actually he was the only one to receive the formula with the relevant “vita-rays” that stabilized the super soldier serum. Then the Nazis killed the scientist who invented the serum and burned his notes so it could not be replicated. Every couple of years Marvel has a storyline where some guy receives a version of the formula without the vita-rays and it messes him up.
The Watchdogs first appeared back in the late-80’s...about 1987 I believe. One issue they were going to lynch Cap’s black partner who was undercover as a pornographer in a southern town. They were brought in as an arbiter of good morals but it turns out they were front group formed by the Red Skull.
Marvel needs some writers that understand what Cap stands for.
It’s Bucky brought back from the dead. There used to be 2 rules at Marvel when it came to deaths-Uncle Ben and Bucky stay dead. Shows you how desperate they are. I wonder when the Uncle Ben zombie is going to rear its ugly head.
And is ol’ green machine himself, “Captain Planet”, still around?
The one who said, “Hey kids!! Let’s save the Earth from greedy capitalists!!!”
BTW, my childhood favorites were Superman and Batman, but there was just one thing I couldn’t figure out about the Man of Steel:
Ol’ Supe came here to Earth in 1938. He should have made mincemeat out of the Germans and the Japs, no atomic bomb needed. Wha’ hoppened, huh?
;^)
That dude doesn’t look like Steve Rogers. And . . actually I think Stark Enterprises owns the super soldier formulae now.
