I read a Bronze Age Captain America comic book last summer where the Patriot (I think that was his name) wanted to attack or destroy the UN because he was pro America and they made him out to be a nut. In the end Captain America stops him and saves the UN.

And that comic is about 30 years old.

Waaaay back in the 70s when I was a youngster, Steve Rogers had a stint as a character named Nomad because he discovered (first-hand) that the leader of an organization called the Secret Empire -- which was hell-bent on making the U.S. into a dictatorship -- was none other than the occupant of the White House at the time.

Yah. That's right. The leader of the evil Secret Empire was none other than Richard M. Nixon.

Not to mention that one of the biggest criminal organizations in Marvel Comics back in the 70s was a fictional oil company -- Roxxon Oil.

You're absolutely right. Marvel Comics has been publishing leftist drivel like this for a looong time.
