Felony snowball throwing charges have been leveled against two Virginia college students for allegedly pelting a city plow and an undercover police car during Saturday's blizzard. Charles Gill and Ryan Knight, both 21, were nabbed by cops in Harrisonburg, where they attend James Madison University. According to police, the pair first targeted a city plow last Saturday afternoon. The driver responded by calling cops to report the frosty fusillade. When police responded to the scene in a bid to identify the assailants, their unmarked vehicle also came under an icy assault. Gill and Knight, a guard on JMU's basketball team, were then apprehended and booked into jail for throwing missiles at occupied vehicles, a felony.

Afterward, a lone survivor is being questioned by Lord Cornwallis. As the interrogation proceeds, it becomes clear that the British were wiped out by a single man.
Give it some time and they'll be considered WMD's
I’m siding with the students - why?? Because JMU is my alma mater ;-) Go Dukes!
Yikes! Minneapolis is leaking out into Virginia! A year ago I was walking by this one house with a labrador retriever in the yard. So I pick up some snow, and the dog is going “yeahyeahyeah snowballsnowballsnowball”. I lob the snowball towrd some random place in the yard, and the dog runs after it. Owner throws a hairy fit, claims I am assaulting the dog, pelting the dog with snowballs.
I think it’s crazy to should arrest these guys, BUT, a good unexpected snowball to the driver’s window can scare the crap out of you. I’ve seen people get out and chase kids who pounded them. If you’ve been sitting stuck for an hour in snowbound traffic, you are already pretty irritable.
One of my brothers was with a bunch of kids throwing snowballs at traffic in a nasty after-school snowstorm. A bus driver got tired of it and stopped the bus. The kids took off. (This was 50 years ago when kids still had some fear of adults.) One of them ran in front of the bus and slipped just as the driver started up again. A front tire ran over the kid’s head.
I can still remember the police coming to our house asking my brother what he saw happen.

throwing missiles? a snowball is a missile??
talk about using inflammatory language to increase the impact of an otherwise boring story

hows about “conrolling” and “power hungry”...totally “the head ..........., what is in charge”
When I was a young teenager I was at my buddy's house where we were throwing snowballs into his trout pond. As he was pulling his arm back to make a throw, I decided to throw my snowball and try to knock his out of his hand. I was only about 8 feet away from him so it should have been a cinch.
Well it wasn't......throwing as hard as I could I nailed him right upside his head........LOL!
And thats how the fight started.......
You can have my snowball when you pry it from my cold hands.
“...then apprehended and booked into jail for throwing missiles at occupied vehicles...”
Throwing missiles?? We’re they heat seeking snowball missiles, MIRV multiple snowball warheads or SAMs?
What an incredible waste of time and abuse of duty...so some kids threw snowballs at you. Boo hoo! Get over it!
Surprised they weren’t labeled terrorists.
Seven YO grandson pelted his other grandmother with a snowball in the face that hit her square on the nose. Brought blood. Turned out it was more of an ice snowball. Bubby got in trouble.
Have any of you peeps ever been in a vehicle thats being pelted with snowballs??? Its a safety threat for sure. Glass sounds like it could shatter at anytime, metal sounds like its been dented big time, its a criminal act absolutely.
Now if the the cops had a trunk monkey they could have settled this without felony charges.

The perps were found with snowball residue on their “firing” hands. It doesn’t look good even though the weapon has not been found.
