This is retarded.
I'm really starting to not like this type of hypersensitivity coming from our side. We should not seek to emulate the left in this regard. Sometimes a joke should just be left as a joke.

Yes—but it plays into the bimbo stereotype too.
(Then again, I could almost imagine Baba Walters guffawing that she hoped she could sit in Scott Brown’s lap...)

I think the comment by Wallace was extremely inappropriate.
To: pnh102
And if a male executive publicly said the same about a female executive in a business context, would you think that appropriate too?
To: pnh102
I agree. GOP women like being attractive and don’t mind people noticing.

"Sometimes a joke should just be left as a joke" No. This is war, patriot, and every blink of an eye needs to be scrutinized and exploited. Traitors dispatched to the narrow mattresses.

Palin overreacted to Rahm. I don’t think Jeri is overreacting here.
Wallace was totally out of line.

On the other hand if Palin inferred that she’d like Wallace to decorate her house because he’s light in the loafers we’d never hear the end of it.

We are using THEIR arms - ALINSKI, remember? That's about time we do it. That's what they do all the time and that's how they won. Affirmative action - racism and all. We are FINALLY understanding how they do it and we are FINALLY learning how to use it. About time! GOOD!!! Keep it up! They don't know how to react when we use their own tactics. Like Sarah with the retarded thing..dead fish Emmanuel is running around apologizing to everybody. GREAT JOB! KEEP IT UP!

No, we need to amp it up more.
Hypersensitivity is how the left won. It works. Hand it back to them tenfold. Hold them to their own standards.

"I'm really starting to not like this type of hypersensitivity coming from our side."Oh for goodness sake, half the men on FR would like to imagine Sarah sitting on their lap -- it's part of her appeal -- you use what you've got, in politics and life. Should these Freepers "apologize", too? Get a grip, Jeri, we're not whinny Liberals.
PS: I am a woman, too.
And PPS: women who know how to use guns don't (and shouldn't) whine!

I think it was a stupid thing for Wallace to say, but I think the best thing to do is let it go. More coverage of it will only harm Palin because the incident suggests that even the station where she’s a pundit now doesn’t take her seriously. She doesn’t need more of that kind of publicity.
Let it go.

It’s not really a joke. It’s the old double standard: she’s a woman, she’s in public, therefore she is vulnerable to sexual innuendo or aggression.
This is shameful, unChristian, and unAmerican.

I agree with Mrs Thompson.
Even Breitbart couldn't resist taking a sophomoric jab when he introduced her in Nashville Sat. night, (while the youngest Palin daughter stood just off-stage).
Even if Palin were not someone being touted to run for the Presidency she is a wife and mother. She deserves to be treated respectfuly, anything less casts unwarranted suspicion on her intellect and viability as a potential candidate.
A lot of men, and some women, need to grow up and act like they've seen an attractive lady before.

Ping and ping. I’m sick and tired of the left’s continual whining about being offended. To pretend that Palin is not an attractive woman is disingenuiness at best. In any case, if the Governor was offended I would think she would say it herself.
