Correction on the overpaid bitch's annual salary....$23 million (not $14 million as peviously reported.)
I know we don't agree 100% on illegal numbers but if we get amnesty or even zero looking the other way while the borders are basically unmanned. How big could those numbers get?
Also, what are the odds that many of the once illegals and now legal could start voting pubbie?
Here in S. Fla. most Cuban/Americans are conservative. For good reason I know, but what about the rest?
I have to say that take down was just delicious.
Thanks!
Recently, I was looking at a Baltimore SUN Sunday paper from late October 2006, where most of the coverage was of the race between Governor Ehrlich and Mayor Martin O’Malley. I was surprised to see in a prominent article about other important races, it was all about Sarah Palin - and written quite objectively, too - if anything printed in the SUN can be considered objective.
She was definitely on the radar of politicos in 2006.
Yes, I take it he was talking about very local city politics—but really it was a pathetic excuse!
That was great! Perky is nothing more than a narcissist hack who is way too obsessed with her legs....which are short and stubby.
At least the perky one isn’t trying to convince us she is smart. Even she knows her 50yo sub-par legs are more useful than her lower than average IQ.
omg no wonder the drivebys are in trouble, all the dough going into the trash can.
John Podesta, like many cannibals, files his teeth.
Agreed. Most Tea Party folks realize that a third party will just keep the incumbents in power. However, the honeymoon with the Reps will end if they fail to achieve any meaningful change should they gain office and possible control over the House and/or Senate.
And they don't need them to register R, just their vote. Whether the GOP can retain their loyalty is up to them.
I'd think their success would promote it.
This particular accusation which is repeatedly used against Palin really rankles me because of it's insidious dis-ingenuousness and unfairness. People who were already favorably disposed towards Palin read or heard her explanation of her resignation, and they understood and accepted the logic, ethics and morality of it.
Unfortunately, it's been devastatingly effective and damaging to her credibility with that great mass of mushy moderates, undecideds and independents who are content to let the media shape their perceptions, but who must be reached if she is to successful in her efforts, whatever direction they may take. These people don't care about the cynical exploitation of a flaw in Alaska's ethics law which was used to persecute, harass and financially ruin Palin and her family, and they aren't going to make the effort to wade through her detailed explanation and actually analyze the issue, so Palin supporters need a concise, hard-hitting response to this accusation which is easily understood but also goes on the offense rather than playing defense. Here's an approach I've found to be effective in conversations when I've been hit with the "only served half her term" accusation.
"During an Alaskan gubernatorial term there are four legislative sessions. Those sessions are where the work gets done and governors either get or don't get their goals enacted into law. Palin served through three of those four legislative sessions, not 'half', got over 90% of her agenda and programs enacted, and left the remaining term in the hands of a capable and trusted successor who shared her views and goals. In politics, as in life, success is determined by what you accomplish, not by how many days you sit behind a desk. By any rational standard, and compared to the governors of the other 49 states, Palin's tenure as governor was tremendously successful. She gave the people of Alaska good measure and fulfilled her duty well beyond what most other governors manage to do."
Obviously this approach won't faze the hardcore moonbats, but I've found it surprisingly effective with many people who've simply absorbed the MSM talking points. It gives them an easily grasped perspective from which to think about and perhaps re-evaluate their opinions.
She would have been a half-term gov if she had won the vp job, too.
Obama: Senator in Name only! for a few years of campaigning for president.
True, but we have to get there first.
An ethical person would be appalled by all this. So that excludes the driveby media. Oh, they might get fired up when lied to, but only if a Republican did it...
Democrats are political liars.
Journalists like being lied to by the political liars, unless said liars are Republican.
But I repeat both you and myself.
Exactly right: Palin was a rising star just about due to go nationwide anyway.
............
I just watched the second half of the riveting "Hillary" interview with that blockbuster of a reporter Candy Crowley of CNN!! Watched by dozens across the world Crowley showed just how easy it is to put viewers to sleep even on Super Bowl Sunday.
Hilllary was a willing accomplice of course looking like she just got out of a Haitian tent and was rushed off on a donkey to catch her plane. Definitely no hairdresser or makeup artist was meeting her on the tarmac stopping aviation traffic.
Bill must be dating again.
And with Chelsey getting married and Hillary trying desperately to find the right pantsuit for the occasion, life must be a bitch.
Did a few minutes of channel hopping after FNS and turned on MSNBC for as little as thirty seconds and heard enough.
They were saying that Palin saw and approved all the questions asked after her speech (which was written, so they said, by some speechwriter), implying of course, that she couldn’t be bright enough to write it her self. And that she had crib notes written on her hands so she could answer the questions she had already seen and approved in advance.
PDS in full bloom!
