p>The Talk Shows
Sunday, February 7th, 2010
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska; Mark Skoda, a talk radio host who helped organize the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, Tenn.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): John Brennan, President Barack Obama's top counterterrorism adviser; former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson; former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan; Ed Gillespie, former Bush White House counselor; Dee Dee Myers, former press secretary for President Bill Clinton.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Sarah is gaining strength and confidence with each passing day. To the extent that she continues to avoid any PC and just speaks her mind she will continue to gain support. I am most impressed with her.
I, like you, have kept my powder dry. Having said that, she is on target. She is doing her homework. She is a work in progress. And, I think the finished product will be mighty fine!
If only we had those old photos of Juan making his now infamous drive into the wall.
Watching it now. Great stuff. I will watch the repeat later on today when I calm down.
Exactly John, and if we don’t dissect it here it won’t get done.
Wow...thanks...suitable for framing.
The dems worst nightmare is all those middle of the roaders/indys who are now Tea Party members/affiliates will vote for us. It dooms them for quite a while since there are not enough dead people or illegals or multiple voters to take up the slack.
I’m not sure what the Governor of Indiana had promised to do, but the Gov of Md promised to fly a Colts flag on his official state car for a week if the Ravens lost.
So O’Malley flew a vintage Baltimore Colts flag, not a current Indianapolis Colts flag.
Crass! Not funny! Can we say Sore Loser!
Arctic Fox Tees
are now in order!!
FR could be the first if they are on the ball!!!
John Podesta is just slime.
The biggest divide I have personally seen between Conservative Reps and some Tea Party members is on social issues such as abortion, legalization of drugs, etc. The common ground is on reducing the size and scope of government, curtailing spending, lowering taxes, and a return to the vision of our Founders and the Constitution.
The GOP must adapt to the Tea Party movement on the core issues and not demand any kind of litmus test outside of that if we want to limit the possibility of a third party movement forming. The GOP must tap into the energy and organization of the Tea Party movment, which really has no hierarchical leadership structure, just a shared vision animated by an anti-incumbent fervor.
Keeping them on after an initial term is like backing the ship up to take another run at the iceberg.
Palin would have emerged regardless. McCain chose her because she was a rising star within the GOP and the governor with the highest approval rating in the country. McCain would still have lost if had selected someone else and we would all be looking for new leadership with Palin being one of the brightest new stars. It may have taken us longer to know her and that may have been better for her in the long run. There is no doubt that she would have finished her term as governor in Alaska and escaped the MSM’s demonization of her.
Watched online for the after show panel. Juan lied thru his teeth about Sarah’s comments and continued on with his suspicion about where the money will go.
I guess Juan didn’t get paid for his book and never got paid for any speeches he gave or gives.
The Dems are replenishing their voters with 1.2 million legal immigrants a year plus another 500,000 illegals annually. An amnesty would make them the permanent majority party.
NO question. And, he is indeed a part of the mobsters who may have inspired all this, who knows?

My guess is that we are not looking at a third party play right now. What do you think?
“Good grief, everything that President Bush did was wrong and now he is their excuse for everything they do. LOL.”
I’m confused, how is it that GWB is both the dems excuse and REASON for everything that happens.
The economy tanks, unemployment dives, deficit quadruples etc. they say it is Bush’s fault because they inheirited the mess.
But when the dems treat terrorists like petty criminals, they say they are just continuing GWB’s policies!
