WASHINGTON, D.C. - A stung U.S. Sen. Scott Brown lashed out at U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy today for insulting his landmark win by calling his candidacy a joke.
Brown said Kennedys remarks are mean spirited, especially coming on the day he was celebrating being sworn into office.
I was elected and the votes are certified and Im here to do my job. Its unfortunate that he would use mean-spirited comments like that at a time when were just trying to solve the problems of the Commonwealth, Brown said today on his first full day on the job.

“Brown zeroing in on Dems secrecy and underhandedness will carry more weight than the limp Repub responses so far.”
Like many here, I’m thankful for Brown, although he is at best probably one of those 70 to 80% conservatives, and hints a lot at RINO-ism, is ‘pro-choice’, et al.
But most of the Republican leadership are RINOs, with a few notable exceptions.
We’ve a *long* way to go, but Brown thankfully has helped stop the full frontal socialist assault - for now.
He opposes partial-birth abortion,
He opposes federal funding for abortion,
He supports strong parental notification laws.
Favors adoption instead of abortion.
Brown is against gay marriage. He questions whether global warming is man-made or natural. He does not believe waterboarding is torture. In favor of a strong military. He's a Lieut Colonel in the Army National Guard. A strong 2nd Amendment supporter. Will not allow taxpayers to finance lawyers to defend terrorists.
Scott believes the US Constititution protects Americans only (not foreign terrorists). Will not grant rights and privileges to enemies of the US in wartime.
==============================================
SCOTT'S IS HARDLY A PRO-ABORTION POSITION We can't really believe Planned Parenthood, and that ilk, think Scott is in their camp.
Now Scott "says" he supports women's right to choose, but he seems to be rubbing their pro-abort noses in the "right to choose" fallacy b/c he further says:
<< he opposes partial-birth abortion,
<< he opposes federal funding for abortion,
<< he supports strong parental notification laws.
<< says adoptions should be encouraged
Scott "says" he supports Roe v. Wade but he has NOT promised to protect abortion rights, and has been endorsed by the anti-abortion Massachusetts Citizens for Life.

OTOH, Obama is the most radically pro-abortion President in history, and despite his words, all his actions serve to radically increase abortions in America and around the world.
What Obama and Michelle "Believe" re Aborted Babies Born Alive
FR POSTED http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2253212/posts?page=6
In February 2004, US Senate candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the "alarming news" that "right-wing politicians" had passed a law (prohibiting doctors from stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls).
Michelle Obama called partial-birth abortion "a legitimate medical procedure. " She urged supporters to pay $150 to attend a fund-raising luncheon for her husband, who she promised would fight against "cynical ploy[s]" to stop it.
BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother's right to "choose" stopped at her baby's delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the House. NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002.
But in Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. Obama worried aloud that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights.
In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion clinics. BAIPA passed in 2005.........after Obama left.
" Please don't go after Barney. He's my pal, now that
I don't have my daddy to tell me what to do in Congress."
"Hate to tell you this kiddo, but you've got enough to worry about yourself."
Hard to believe they’re the same species.
Wonder when that photo was taken- before or AFTER Kennedy’s idiotic remarks...

LOL. Arnie-speak was fun to duplicate.
I also did one of him singing “On The Good Ship Lollipop” w/ an accent......after he decides to have a sex change to “refife his cahveer.”
You did GOOD, but I had one hell of a time trying to read it aloud...LOL.
Brown blew it. He should point out that Kennedy was mocking the voters of his great state.
Aw, sweet dog!
Nice!!!
Indeed, he should of said that Kennedy doesn’t respect the voters of Massachusetts because he doesn’t respect the voters of RI either.
The chocolate lab was @ the Quincy rally for Scott, had to take a photo of him.
Did you know Paul Revere’s horse was named Brown?
Some say Brown Beauty.
