BOSTON (AP) - An immigration hearing for President Barack Obama's African aunt has ended without an immediate decision in her bid for asylum.
Kenya native Zeituni Onyango (zay-TUH'-nee awn-YAHN'-goh) testified for about two-and-a-half hours Thursday at the closed proceedings in U.S. Immigration Court. Two doctors also testified in support of the case her lawyer said includes medical reasons to stay in the U.S.
Attorneys for Onyango and the government have 30 days to file closing briefs. The hearing could continue on May 25 if the judge does not issue a ruling before then.

Even under the most liberal reading of 8 USC § 1158, I don’t see how any judge can grant this woman asylum. She just doesn’t qualify, for a variety of reasons.
Kenyan “native”? I guess the author doesn’t know the term “citizen”. It is Kenya who owe her, not the United States. If she wants to come here, she needs to return to Kenya and apply for a green card.
What a shock. The judge (actually they’re not judges; they’re only administrative law hearing officers) is terrified.
Can you imagine what message Rahm Emmanuel delivered to him? Can you imagine the obama White House handling this any other way?
I don’t even see how they could claim that she could be used as a bargaining chip with the Zero. He obviously couldn’t care less about her. He left her on the public tab all this time when he obviously had the means to care for her.

We ought to cut her a sweetheart deal. She gets to stay in the US if she dimes on Obummer and his being born in Kenya. The media circus would be terrific. She turns it down, we ship her disease ridden a** back to Africa.
