Working for the IRS doesn't sound so wimpy anymore.
The IRS apparently has plans to buy 60 Remington Model 870 police 12 gauge pump action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Unit.
According to the federal business government website, these guns are serious.
The Remington parkerized shotguns come fully loaded with:
* A fourteen inch barrel
* Modified choke
* Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight
* XS4 Contour Bead front sight
* Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock
* Speedfeed ribbed black forend
We're not sure what kind of IRS duty requires this kind of combat artillery, but it sounds badass.

Will this have any effect on our “voluntary” income tax?
Because beating them into submission with your adding machine is no longer an option.
A well scoped 7mm mag should take care of this problem, some distance away.
Prolly headed to Las Vegas to pick up slot machine granmas.
THIS is serious:

And to really get the crap scared out of you, go to 4:30.
Against normal consumer arms, this is like an AK47 against muskets.
Only 60? Hell there are some preppers on here that have that many just for themsevles.
I knew Obama wanted to step up enforcement and collections, but isn’t this going too far?
“When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun”
Notice the misspelling of the word "too". :)
My oldest daughter’s best friend was a math whiz in high school and went on to pursue her accounting degree. She works for the IRS and participates in audits of businesses. She practices regularly at the shooting range and wears a gun and bulletproof vest to her appointments.
She’s not your old-school accountant. The IRS means business.
The country is in so much debt now, I guess they have to make sure we pay up. ;-)
And apocalypse. :))
I don’t blame her, alot of wackos out there. I’m thinking this is for the Capone types, can’t get ‘em for the real crime? nail ‘em for taxes.
Just adding to the existing inventory of shotguns....
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to purchase sixty Remington Model 870 Police RAMAC #24587 12 gauge pump-action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Division. The Remington parkerized shotguns, with fourteen inch barrel, modified choke, Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight and XS4 Contour Bead front sight, Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock, and Speedfeed ribbed black forend, are designated as the only shotguns authorized for IRS duty based on compatibility with IRS existing shotgun inventory, certified armorer and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts.

Just like Al Capone and any other capo sent his armed thugs to local businesses to take the ‘privilege of staying in business’ tax. Al Capone was arguably less crooked than a Nancy Pelosi!
Ask your daughter’s friend how she feels working for History’s most powerful criminal mob?
I use an 870 for deer hunting. It’s a reliable basic shotgun, and pretty much standard issue for most law enforcement.
I bought mine because the 870 comes in a left-hand version. So does my Model 700 30-06. I love handing it to friends and asking them to operate it. ;-)
more evidence to overturn Miller.
Maybe this is the agency where obama plans to establish his brownshirts...you never know.
