Has the Obama administration compromised national security by leaking the fact that it's obtaining actionable intelligence from Umar Mutallab? On this afternoon's Hardball, Justice Department correspondent Pete Williams reported the breaking news that Obama admin officials have told him that the Christmas Day bomber, Umar Mutallab, is providing actionable, fresh intelligence.

Boasting only confirms that one feels inferior, inadequate, and insecure and that one is trying to add to one’s stature by one’s boasting. Intelligent, self-secure individuals consider what one has as sufficient and lets it speak for itself; s/he acts modestly and in that way assures continued success, for no resentment arises against him.
Can that be said of this individual (Obama White House)?
There is no way to prove or disprove such a statement.
If they are getting such intelligence, it is completely wrong to reveal that.
If they are not, it is even more abhorent because it unmasks our entire security apparatus as liars.
