The pundits say your staff put New Hampshire on your schedule because they wanted you to make your case on the economy before a swing-state audience.
Have you checked the polls lately? Massachusetts is a swing state now.
According to Public Policy Polling, just 44 percent of Bay State voters approve of the job you're doing as president. That's in a one-party, Democratic duchy where you got 62 percent of the vote just 15 months ago.
There aren't any PPP numbers for New Hampshire, but around here liberals are like the temperatures. The farther north you go, the lower the numbers get.

The President is now in New Hampshire campaigning for pushing his health care agenda!
"Push back" is his underlying theme, and Massachussetts doesn't matter.
Well, congress can thank themselves, with their radical policies, and their impostor in the WH...they’ve shot their selves in the proverbial foot.
Heh

I wonder how much of that Democratic vote in MA was based on personal ties to the Swimmer? He was big on constituent services, which builds up a lot of support over time.
Kind of like Don Vito Corleone, except that this Don Vito didn't have a Michael to inherit his chits, and they all died with him.
I have thought for a long time that TK was a major force promoting decadence and corruption by virtue of his being tolerated in office after he had proved himself unfit for it. His power and influence in MA, and consequently in the US Senate, provided cover for a multitude of scoundrels who would have been pounding sand in the world of 50 years ago.
