94 House Democrats have signed the Polis-Pingree letter calling on the Senate to pass the public health insurance option through "reconciliation," which only needs a simple majority to pass the Senate.
Here is the list of supporters.

From the heart of blue country here in New Jersey I am surprised that my rep and the one from the next district over, Adler and Andrews, have not committed to this. Adler is super vulnerable, he won by like 4 votes. For once, my state might vote the right way on something!

What the hell is “reconciliation?” That in the Constitution? Doubt it.
this will be a useful list for the fall elections...in fact I would hope its already being circulated in their districts...

I guess what this means is the representatives will only vote yes on the Bill handed to them by the Senate if the Senate will add a public option when it goes back over there. If the House adds to the bill, or takes away from the bill then it goes back to debate in the Senate.
Just called my jerky congressman who is on this list, Mike Honda. No one answered, so I had to leave a message.

So now we are to believe that they can muster the votes supporting the more difficult and much less satisfactory approach requiring "reconciliation". I don't think so. I don't think they have the votes and I don't think they are going to get them.
Obama effectively bailed on Healthcare 2 days after Scott Brown was elected. Why did he do that? Because he doesn't have the votes.
Now I believe we must be vigilant but right now the only people telling us that the Dems will pass Obamacare are Dick Morris, Nancy Pelosi and a few oddball wacko leftist Congressman. I remain the skeptic.
