I work at a community food pantry in Lorain County and wanted Plain Dealer readers to know of our bizarre census story:
A few weeks ago, our pantry received a call from a Census Bureau worker who requested copies of our monthly statistics for "census records." Our free meal service has never applied to census data, and we declined to provide the records. When he insisted, I repeatedly explained that our pantry is not a shelter and that no one lives there. But it didn't matter.
The census worker said the official count starts in the spring, and he wanted to visit our food pantry and "quiz" people because he felt that the "impoverished" were embarrassed to admit who lives at their home (on census forms they received by mail) and he wanted to follow up at our pantry. I noted that many people go from pantry to pantry and might be counted many times that way. He said, "That's OK; the more people, the more money for Ohio."
I hope this is not indicative of how the census will be conducted this year.

Mrs Clark should have invited the creep over and met him with TV camera’s and reporters asking infomation on who his super is and why people are required to answer questions like these.....+
Then have the TV people follow him to the next food pantry where the same people get counted again....
These are people without jobs, obviously. Maybe without jobs because of Obama, Hope & also Change.
Think about that for a minute.
After that answer the census worker probably is an ACORN worker.
Between counting ALL the illegals, and padding the numbers for Blue State entitlements/buying Dem votes, the population of the U.S. will come out in the range of China’s population after the 2010/ACORN body count.
Eveyone needs to have a personal recorder with them - olympus makes a very nice one that is inexpensive if you get a factory refurbished one, that you can detach form the recorder and pop right onto your PC’s USB port to save, copy onto CDROM, upload to places.
“And so it begins.”
Nah! It’s going to be great fun screwing with them.
I am tempted to claim that a lot of people live here.
It is scary to think that something as important as
apportionment of seats in the house of representatives
depends entirely on the honor system.
Oy.
