I was at this event yesterday and it was off the hook! Jackie Walorski packed 1200 people in the hall and apparantly they were only expecting 500.
This is a congressional seat that was held by a Republican four years ago. Blue DINO (Blue Dog In Name Only) Joe Donnelly, has tried to distance himself from Pelosi and his votes in favor of TARP, Socialized Medicine and any big government project his party needs him for.
Walorski is an unapologetic conservative State Rep here in Indiana and her toughness reminds me of Michelle Bachmann. Her best line of the night was "I'd rather be a pit bull than a blue dog!"
There were lots of Tea Partiers and 9-12ers at the event and one of their major organizers spoke at the event.
This race isn't on anyone's radar yet, but I think it's going to be. Sounds like Donnelly has a big money advantage at this point, though.

I went to he web site and she sounds like a winner. People like this are coming out of the woodwork now that they know there is wide spread support for conservatism. We used to wish a strong Republican would run against some of these liberals but no one stepped forward because the media and the democrats did all they could to personally destroy them. Now that we are making ourselves known with tea parties, town halls, gatherings in Washington, etc., these fine people are no longer afraid.
It is sort of like Iraq and Afghanistan. When there was no one to stand up to the terrorists the locals kept their heads down. That meant the only voice heard was that of al Qaeda and the media happily amplified it. When U.S. troops showed up in force and stayed to protect the locals they came forward with their voices.
When good people do nothing evil reigns. Good people are now doing something. The easy ride of the Left is over.

Thanks!
That was just a quick look at the records. I’m sure that digging a bit deeper will expose more of Joe Donnelly’s dubious connections.
He’s not the guy the voters in his district think he is.
Good to know. Indiana needs this.
I also met privately with Rob Pastore he is going to be hopefully running vs pete the corrupt visclosky for district 1 nw indiana. I will be playing an active role in his campaign. If there is any freepers out there from nw indiana that want to help, send me a message and ill get you to work. we need all the help to turn district 1 republican but i think with pete’s corruption trouble this is our best chance
Bump not even on the Radar yet.
i agree its going to be extremely tuff but the corruption cloud he is under right now and the economy about to fall off a cliff, and what happened in massachussetts give me hope and the drive to help
Indiana Dems have been fortunate to get some very popular recruits to run in recent years, and this is a great opportunity for the pendulum to swing back our way.
Notwithstanding these concerns, this is a mid-term election year. And unlike 1994, normally traditional Democratic voters are becoming more and more disaffected. Larson would have won had it not been for Bill Clinton’s “New Democrat” overtures, retaining a lot of the moderate vote.
In Gary and Hammond, more than a few black and Hispanic folk are becoming tired of their Democratic representation. The local Dems’ avarice may well enough bite them in the end.
Most important, is the fact that NOW is the best chance to turn this district “red”; if not, we may not get another chance for 80 more years.
