A PRAYER FOR OUR NATION
Our Father and Our God,
We praise You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve.
Yet we know all is not right with America. We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we face.
Convict us of sin. Help us to turn to You in repentance and faith. Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace.
We pray today for our nation's leaders. Give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it.
You have said, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD." May this be a new era for America, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord.
This we pray in Your holy name, Amen.
Billy Graham, 50th Anniversary of the National Day of Prayer.

Thank you. ...Good Sunday to you and yours as well.
I 'borrowed' the picture - It was, after all, for a good cause. Fittingly, I think it came from 'Robin Hood' country. (...a UK site.)

Morning coffee bump.
Quick update from SW OK. Power is back on here in Comanche. LIghts still flicker from time to time. City electric crews are still on standby in case any part of town looses power.
Other parts of the area, especially around the rural places and in Northern part of Stephens County are still without power. Power company officials say it may take 7-10 days before power is restored to some places.
There's still ice on trees in the area. Hopefully with tmeps going above freezing the ice will all melt off.
Most places in OK are still without power. Electric crews are working around the clock to get it all restored. Just google PSO, OGE and Cotton Electric to find out more.
Had to throw some food out. Some of the food in the frig and the freezer is spoiled. Will asses things later this morning.
