I blame Faircloth for this. If he hadn’t run such a crappy campaign, we’d have heard no more from this scumbag.

Just when we think that we have seen all depths of rat corruption, another rat bites us. It is hard to imagine but this rat was only 60,000 votes from the White House. Of course, all conservatives knew that he was completely corrupt and phony. Still, these revelations are eye opening to the corrupt rat world.

By all outward appearances, John and Elizabeth Edwards were the power couple of the 21st century – intelligent, compassionate, devoted to each other.

This guy better be speaking for himself. Anyone from NC knew better from day one!

I’m sure there were a dozen of Edward’s buddies who knew about the affair.

Remember when the SRM wouldn’t touch this story? That the National Esquire had put them all to shame! Now the talking heads making hay from it since Silky boy is now a political liability instead of their ally. No wonder their ratings are tanking!

In other words, they're democrats

God what disgusting people but not much different than Bill & Hillary, Hussen and Aunt Esther, MCCain and his crazy pro-gay marriage rodeo beer magnate, Kerry & the billionairess catsup magnate witch.

Sad about Elizahbeth Edwards sickeness but she comes off as a pretty typical lawyer.

Most of us who live in NC knew John Edwards for the ambulance-chasing, dead-child channeling sleaze lawyer that he is. But I will say that the excerpts I've read of this book reach a new low, even for him.

And Elizabeth? I've said it before and I'll say it again. I do not believe that she has cancer now or ever had it before. She hasn't lost one ounce of weight, she hasn't lost her hair...what other cancer patient that anyone has ever known didn't suffer these side effects from the treatment?

They're both capable of this level of deception, obviously, if it serves to advance their purpose.

Good riddance.

Dammit! If it wasn’t snowing I would go buy this book now, so I ‘d have something to read while I am stuck indoors.
I think Young had a bit of a man crush on The King.

Ms Edwards ain’t much better than him...they both played up her illness 2 years ago like she was near dead and folks in NC say she is a real piece of work.

She is even more lefty than him...overeducated fembot southern style....a traitor to her region.

You can be a valiant cancer survivor and an a$$hole at the same time. That's what it takes to support a professional medical litigant anyway.

During the Dem primaries, he was the one I was really worried about. I knew he was a fraud, but I thought he had enough “Slick Willy” in him to make it all the way to the Whitehouse.

And then I heard there was going to be a press conference. The speculation was that he was going to suspend his campaign because of Elizabeths’ cancer returning and I actually began developing some respect for him, assuming he would step out of the public eye in order to concentrate on his wife and family.

I seem to recall during the press conference there was some confusion because everyone was assuming he was going to quit, but when he made clear he was staying in the race, some in the press began to wonder what the point of the press conference was. A simple press release could have announced the return of the cancer.

I thought at the time that I was being too cynical for thinking it was a publicity stunt to garner sympathy support for his candidacy, but apparently I am still not cynical enough when it comes to certain politicians.
