I really dont see how any of this is earth shattering....just different, more expensive Apple packaging.
I suspect you can get one to do just WiFI, or not have to turn on 3G unless you want to. I would like to see it tether (via BT, cable or ad hoc WiFi) to the iPhone for 3G
