Also, do you remember when you started filling out your applications to transfer in to Columbia, or what documents they asked you to give? It’s a long time ago so I understand if you don’t remember, but if you do remember, it could be helpful.
These radio and TV yappers fail to understand that they are running small businesses. The name is just like any other business’s trade mark or brand name. If they don’t preserve their reputation for honest commentary then they are destroying their “brand name” or “trade mark”.
Personally, I am **disgusted** with Rush over how his has ignored Obama’s eligibility. Sorry! But that does bleed over into other things that he is covering.
Limbaugh is waiting for somebody else to break the story, I think. That’s the thing with the political talk show hosts. They aren’t reporters and for the most part don’t try to be. But it means that they also leave out whatever the media doesn’t report. And that is problematic.
I’m trying to find a media outlet that will take the story we’ve got so far. I’ve got a nibble but editors are very busy and this isn’t an in-your-face story at the moment. We can pass the word around; perhaps Rush will eventually think it’s documented well enough to cover.

In the 1980s there were black neighborhoods to the north and east of the college and hispanic neighborhoods to the south. It was a small island of upper middle class whites surrounded by people who had zero understanding or interest in the passions of the people there in.
For that reason Columbia had the same kind of fantasy feel as we enjoy today under Obama.

The only documents that I recall they wanted were transcripts from my previous school. I don’t recall that a birth certificate was required.
Do you remember when you decided to transfer? Like was it midway into the year before you transferred - winter or springtime?
I transferred after 2 years of college, and I think I did the paperwork in the spring. I remember reading on Columbia’s website that now if you want to get priority for admissions you’re supposed to apply earlier and be committed to the transfer if you’re admitted. Do you remember anything like that?
I’m asking because I think Obama’s records at Occidental must have been as Barry Soetoro. It’s what everybody knew him as. Which is weird because his caption in the high school yearbook in Hawaii was Barry Obama. Why switch from being Barry Obama in high school to being Barry Soetoro in college the next year? My guess is because he was considered the financial dependent of Soetoro (as described in the Soetoro-Dunham divorce papers) and so had to go under Soetoro’s name, as his adopted son - an Indonesian citizen.
The summer of 1980 was when Race Bannock (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong) remembers hearing him say that he was born in Mombassa and wanted to be president someday. That was the summer that his mom was getting the divorce from Soetoro. I think that divorce allowed him to transfer his credits under the Barry Soetoro name even though he switched his identity to be Barack Obama. That’s when he left behind his Indonesian citizenship and went about convincing the world that he was Barack Obama the Hawaiian.
I’m trying to get a better idea of when, why, and how he made the transfer to Columbia - particularly with the timing of the divorce being processed and finalized.

General Studies was not a warm and fuzzy "Joe College" kind of scene. You got off the subway, you took the course, you got back on the Subway and you left. Often that course would be at night. Forget about finding classmates. IMHO, it would be much more instructive to know what the fellow actually did, in addition to wandering around Pakistan with chums.
Of course, friendships were made, and some fellows who do remember Barack Hussein 0bama, Jr. have come forward. He did also contribute to a fringe University publication.

None of the "conservative" talkers do. The legitimate news that Donofrio will be seeking a Writ of Quo Warranto is nowhere on their radar. In their books, neither Beck or Levin even mention Article II eligibility. Hannity? Fuggedaboutit. He is usually too busy osculating the nether quarters of slimeball Dick Morris.
The silence of the talkers on the eligibility issue, is of course, an absolute disgrace.
The only talker who mentions it regularly is Liddy, and he is stuck on the Hawaiian Birth angle, following Joseph Farah's lead at WND, which instead of educating on the issue, only adds to the confusion.
One more GD time. Barack Hussein 0Bama, Jr. could have been delivered on the White House Lawn on the 4th of July by Dr. Jonas Salk, and immediately baptized by Billy Graham and the Pope. He still would NOT be a Natural Born Citizen," as required by Article II of the Constitution of the US. Not even 0bama himself claims that.
In regard to Limbaugh, I have heard rumours that he is silently bankrolling the Quo Warranto effort. I hope so.
But the Conservative yakkers are only cheerleaders. They are not the team and the players we should be backing. The Conservative movement ... at the moment ... has none. No focus.
Where is the one Conservative leader who will step up and call "Bullshiite" on Global Warming? Where is the Conservative leader who will defy the MSM publicly? Where is the one Republican who has made an issue of 0bama's eligibility? Before I back anyone for President, I'll need at least 2 out of 3. And when Donofrio makes his request for a Writ of Quo Warranto in the Federal District Court of Washington, D.C., I'll also require that any claiming to be Republicans query the Attorney General about it. Publicly.
0bama and his bi-partisan enablers, to the silence of "conservative" talk radio, has become the de facto POTUS. The Constitution has been put aside by illegal means to allow 0bama to to claim the office.

But if your question is was General Studies loose enough to allow someone to transfer in at the begginning of any semester, the answer is yes. As well, you can just go in and sign up for classes classes without being in a degree program.

Occidental has confirmed that our de facto POTUS used the name "Barack Hussein Obama, Jr." while there, but do not tell us if he used the name for the whole time he was there, or had, as you astutely suggested, had the "Soetoro" credits transferred to "0bama." What Occidental is utterly silent about is exactly what he studied there, with whom, and with what results. They also will not tell us whether or not he falsely (or not) registered as a "foreign citizen," in order to receive financial aid.
The Bar of the State of Illinois confirms that Barack Hussein 0bama, Jr. did not report using ANY alias on his bar application. Neither did he report parking tickets received in MA.
No one has ever cleared up the mystery of the multiple SS#s apparently used by 0bama and his mother.
BTW, The whole Indonesian Citizenship thing is a red herring. If he is, as he tells us, a "NATIVE born citizen," under US law, that citizenship could not be given away, or taken away by his mother or stepfather. Stepdad Soetoro in all likelihood had him registered as an Indonesian citizen and got him an Indonesian passport. If he were actually born in Hawaii, that would not fundamentally alter his American citizenship, even if at one point he claimed Indonesian citizenship, or more likely used the Indonesian passport to establish his identity.
What Barry Barack Soetoro/0bama is asking us to accept is that the NATIVE born citizenship, which is all he claims on his website, is the same as NATURAL Born Citizenship. It is not. And to be absolutely factual, he has proven neither.
