Barack Obama has beefed up his political staff and is expected to deliver an uncompromising State of the Union address.

Oh yeah, agitate the angry people, that'll work for sure.

0bambi’s pretending to have a pair? This bodes well for good comedy in the SotU speech.

"...turn up the heat on Republicans over the deficits incurred in the Bush years"

Bush averaged about $200 billion/year. The last Republican Congress for FY2007 had a $160 billion dollar budget deficit. The Democrats and Obama have just run up a $1.4 TRILLION dollar budget deficit.

If the Republicans let the Democrat hang upon their necks an average $200 billion dollar budget deficit compared to the Democrats TRILLION dollar budget deficits, then the Republicans deserve to frikin' lose. Morons!

I find it very amusing how these politicians just throw around the term “job creation” and “jobs created” as if a job is something they can just wish into existence.

Jobs are created when people that own businesses and employ other people find it necessary to do so because of economic condition. The only thing a politician can do for “job creation” is to help create those economic conditions, and get the hell out of the way. On the other hand, while a politician can’t do much to create jobs, they can sure as hell easily make sure jobs are lost. Just raise taxes and see what happens.

"The re-emergence of David Plouffe took some Democratic officials by surprise, though officials said he won't have a title and won't be working from the White House."

Who's paying this guy? He's NOT working for free!

Is our tax money paying him?

Maybe this Plouffe guy helped get the kenyan elected, but we have all seen now WHAT was elected, so that makes Plouffe just another obama con-man and any further efforts on obama's or the democrats behalf will just be the continuation of that ruse.

America has GOT to stop falling for this EEO incompetence nightmare called a president.

Yeah, I think Plouffe is right. What they really need to win the American people over is a big health care plan. Not the one they have now, a really, really, really big one, 10,000 pages or so, Sanskrit is fine since nobody needs to read it first. Draft all the doctors and nurses into the U.S. Medical Corps, model the health care program of the entire country on the internationally praised one of Cuba, levy prohibitive taxes on The Rich - all Republicans are rich, right? - and utilize community organizations such as ACORN to redistribute the money on the basis of social justice. In memory of Ted Kennedy. It's what The People want.

Ever see a moth orbiting a candle flame?

Mr. T did an awesome job of providing the voice of the tough cop in the animated feature ‘Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs’. Perhaps President Obama could get him to read the State of the Union address while Obama lip syncs it. That would make obama look tough.

I won’t be watching it. I’m sure FR will cover it thoroughly.

The moron does NOT get it. After all that has happened, the idiot still hasn’t a clue.

Nov. 2010 should be big fun.
