“turned the economy around”
Ok so going from 7% to 10% unemployment is “turning things around” in the O-bot world view?
Voters can see right through them now. It's obvious they'd don industrial-strength rubber gloves and hold dainty perfumed hankies to their noses before doing the dirty job of cleaning up after themselves. Most people would just grab a shovel and be rid of the stuff.
Very interesting way of boiling down the messages in the MA Senate election, Timeout.
Nothing like telling it like it is,too good!
There's no risk of that. See, e.g., Jim DeMint's piece titled, "It's Common Sense" from early July, 2009.
The DEMS use the word "commonsense," the hard-left wing of the GOP uses the word "commonsense," etc.
The word does resonate, because it means whatever the listener imputes to it. I suppose "constitutional" has a similar flaw, but "dismantle XYZ federal agency," well, that sort of objective has very little ambiguity.
Kattie Kay thinks it the people of this country are confused and are asking for impossible things, like they want jobs but don’t want to spending that creates jobs.
Kattie, government spending doesn’t create jobs and you are a dummie.
Does EJ Dionne have teeth?
If I'm not mistaken, in the 2008 elections, with unemployment much lower than it is today, 2/3 of the voters rated the economy as the number #1 concern, while only 10% cared about health care reform. But, for most of the year, the media focus has been on healthcare.
Now Gregory wants to focus on the truth?
Jarrett: “Lets just remember where we were a year ago. Worst ever. But weve turned the economy around.”

Obviously insulated from the poor folk looking for work, and my state has better employment than most. Jobs are devastated in the USA, and Democrat policies are adding to it tremendously
I am here in Indiana where there is talk Mike Pence will run against Evan Bayh. This will mean that a lot of people are going to have to really work hard. Pence would be a good candidate but Bayh has lots of money, the support of the local press and media, and a famous name.
Bayh may be in trouble though, because Hoosiers have FINALLY caught on to his talking about fiscal responsibility and Hoosier values here and then voting with Reid on every important issue.
There's no other way to say it. Polls show most Americans are against his premier legislative items. So, in fact, he's fighting against us.
Not only You Lie, Obama, but You Fail! So far, and you will continue to, as long as you try to force your socialist agenda down our throats.
Gibbs=the true meaning of village idiot!
As I have said for over 10 years here, you never get someone who agrees with you on everything. You have to look at the total candidate and make your decision based whether they are the closest match.
Perhaps people might entertain the thought that Palin knows what she's doing.
If people in the media read this thread, will someone please tell Chuck Todd that using those silly hand gestures just makes him look ridiculous and he needs to cut it out.
Whoever advised him to do what Buchanan does only more elaborately did him no favors.
That is so ridiculous! We should wear a red, white, and blue one for America!
There’s only one Job Sector Democrats support, all other job sectors to be cancelled ASAP;

Marple for Senate!
It's worth considering how risky a candidate Hayworth is, if you ask me.
