If people in the media read this thread, will someone please tell Chuck Todd that using those silly hand gestures just makes him look ridiculous and he needs to cut it out.

It definitely seems to have been a media consultant who advised hand action from talking ‘heads’ = who were deemed to immobile, ie, not eye-catching enough, for tv.
Juan Williams also bought the “gesture” advice. It is most annoying!
