The grounds were eerily silent. They seemed abandoned and dead. Having been in the White House, I know what lights are part of the residence and the East and West Wings. The windows were dark. On the night of one of the greatest political upsets in modern electoral history, someone had ordered all the White House staff to go home. The last one had apparently turned out the lights.....

Eh....not such a big deal. The same atmosphere likely existed when Specter flipped or when Franken officially became number 60.

I want to see one of The Wookie captioned ROFLMAO, with the appropriate caboose on the ground behind her.
(Assuming, of course, that any image of her laughing can be found)

Let's just hope Gibbs keeps treating the press with his lying and arrogance and Olberman keeps calling Americans "irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, teabagging supporters of violence against women"
Let's hope Pelosi and Reid keep on yammering about how they need to pass healthcare for the swimmer.
All of their so-called supporters have destroyed their image. They think they are insulting some fringe group when in fact, they are connecting in a seriously negative way to MOST Americans. It's the funniest thing I've seen
That's right, let's give them every excuse to insult the American public. They are so far out of touch with reality they will never get it.
Voters (even their own) have been telling them outright for months that they don't like what they are doing and yet this morning they are convinced that Brown won because she ran a poor campaign, nothing more. I've never seen people so far out of touch with reality.
November is going to be a cake walk if they keep it up.
