One time, several years ago, flying out of Oakland, CA, I was heavy on Carry-ons, so I checked my laptpp. The sniffer smelt an odor it did not like. They did check it, but when I arrived, it had been disasembled but put back with no damaged.
I guess i fled also as I came back to TX.

My Walkman tested positive for explosives nitrates at Tampa International because I laid it on the grass after it was fertilized by the landscaping crew .A co-worker of mine was detained and missed her business flight because of a similar issue. She had rolled her carry-on bag through the grass when she left the job site. They had fertilized the grass earlier that day.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jan/20/munich-airport-laptop-explosives “It does not necessarily mean that he was carrying explosives,” Albert Poerschke, a police spokesman, said.
“He might have been in a hurry to catch his plane, which is why he ran away. If he was rushing, he might not have registered what was happening.”
Police were still looking for the man three and a half hours after he had fled.”
What? So, he was running away TOWARD his flight? It is not clear to me what the H happened here. Maybe nothing, maybe a thwarted or delayed catastrophe, no big difference.
