This is going to hurt Sarah.
It’s priciple vs. politics and POLITICS is winning.
I am not impressed.
And February 7th she will be in Texas with Gov Perry. She will also campaign for Michelle Bachman.
Big, big mistake that may cost her a lot of support. Mine included. If she campaigns for the ultimate RINO against a real conservative in a primary challenge she’ll be toast to me. I hope she rethinks this!
Oh, oh...guess who’s going to get FRagged?
This was easy to predict.
If true, Sarah has just dropped several points in my estimation. To campaign for this pathetic, limp-wristed sell out is criminal. And very, very ill advised both for Palin AND more importantly, the US!
What a big surprise...
The party groupies will rationalize this 50 different ways while at the same time calling anyone who questions their candidate supporting a liberal....A liberal!
McCain needs to step aside. His time is over. This won’t help Sarah Palin. I don’t think she will ever run for President either as there is too much going on around her. To hook up with McCain again is senseless. We need fresh faces and young blood!!!
So Sarah’s going to campaign for open borders, cap & tax, closing Gitmo and every other consession McQueeg has made to the hard left in the interest of “reaching across the aisle”. That’s just awesome. Maybe she can run a Soros-funded entitiy like McCain did, too.
I understand loyalty to some extent, but this is a career-killing blunder of epic proportions. This is almost as bad as Newt throwing down with Scozzafava. Maybe we’ve been wrong about Lady Palin all along. This is no way to spend your political capital.
Right now in Arizona, there is a large grassroots movement to get a real conservative -- J. D. Hayworth -- to take on McCain in the primary. If, for some reason, Hayworth decides not to take on McCain because of Palin's support for McCain, then Palin is MUD to me!
The very thought of this is infuriating...!
I have never been a McCain supporter.
I would have preferred Palin didn’t campaign for him.
But, considering that he brought her to the national stage, I can understand how she feels obligated.
Is Sarah suicidal? She shouldn’t have anything to do with any solution to the illegals other thsn sending them ALL home!
Quite frankly, she has to do this. If she didn’t, she’d be labeled as a backstabber and Palin critics would have a field day. If she does she’s labeled as letting politics win over principle and Palin critics have a field day. She HAS to help the guy that gave her national exposure, and she explains in her book that she still considers him a freind. The key will be in the way that this is done, especially in how she does or does not allow herself to be “managed” by the McCain campaign this time around.
She HAS to campaign for him.
Does anyone honestly believe that supporting his opponent is a viable option?!
I am not in favor of John McCain, he has strayed too far toward reconciliation and liberal thinking. He has changed and lost his strength. He is not one I trust anymore. He has continued to be strong on defense, which is good.
Immigration is another topic all together, he does not listen to the people of Arizona, Texas, which must bear the brunt of this stampede of immigrants the last few years.
Immigration from Mexico must stop and become controlled, and admitted by a certain number only each year. It has overwhelmed the border states, schools, hospitals, housing, illegal violent crimes, congested highways, many with no English, no drivers license, an interest in cock fighting (illegal), drinking, fighting, and driving wild. Many commit sexual crimes. Too much. Overwhelming numbers.
Not all, not all, many are good people. Hard working and all. Still they are swarming into the border states unprepared to support them. Not fair, not fair.
Sorry John, you have compromised too much, been involved in corrupt deals and it ill becomes members of the Senate to be corrupt.
God help us in our day, in Jesus name, Amen.
If true, a poor choice. She has nothing to gain by it, and certainly will lose.
Big, big mistake on Sarah’s part. Campaign for Michelle Bachmann, by all means... but not McCain! She had the perfect opportunity to “politely decline” to stump for him, given the way he and his cronies tried to throw her under the bus (many times); but now, it’d come across as a political waffle.
This idea of “be magnanimous” is fine when it means “hold to the high ground as you congratulate your opponent on going out to pasture”; but empowering him? Good grief, that’s dumb.
PU—LEASE!
