(If any of you mindless rabble are reading this, stop now. This message is not for you. And reading is really not your thing as you've proven time and again. I will probably use a few big words later and you know how that gives you a headache. So stop reading now. I mean it.)
Truth is, the problems this world faces are far more complex and far more difficult to fix than people like Scott Brown can fathom. We know this, dont we, friends? We understand this, innately. The problems with the banking industry, climate change, energy, healthcare, foreign relations, and the economy are the kinds of problems that require serious people with serious backgrounds. Former models are definitely not the kind of people we need working on these problems. Even 30-year national guard veterans are not the kind of people we need working on these problems. We need people who have dedicated their lives to understanding how the world works, where the pain points are, where the leverage needs to be applied and how much money needs to be raised to turn the ship in the right direction.
Clearly, we need the smartest people in the room to be solving our problems. The big brains. The people who, in high school, were likely dunked in the toilet and pantsed by people like Scott Brown.

Insecurity?
They remind me of the scientist in the original version of The Thing who grovels before the monster "you are so much older, wiser than us . . ." just then the thing takes him by the throat. Fortunately the scientist is saved by a conservative.
And anyone who thinks this Coakley babe is "smart," either wasn't paying attention or isn't playing with a full deck.
ML/NJ
I would also add deeply distrustful of their neighbors . . . or at least the folks down the street.
What a typical mentally challenged socialist/communist elitist drone the author is. Buddy, you Dear Leader is a stupid shortsighted communist who has no idea how the world works. YOUR Dear Leader has managed to bankrupt the future in one short year. His NO GROWTH economic policies have increased unemployment to double digits. We have been attacked by Jihadists three times on our soil, killing 15 Americans. I can go on forever, but you simple little brain can only absorb so much, you little hapless tool.
People keep saying he will be forced to the center. People like Obama can't even conceive of the center or a conservative view. They only have disdain as we are people who oppose them. They see us as the enemy, people that need to be wiped out once and for all.
We have seen these people throughout history. Once they consolidate power, they have absolute power to do what ever they want. As every year goes by we see them gain more power through gov regulations, media control, community activists the list can go on and on.
We need to be ever vigilant against this mindset. We need to call it out wherever we see it. We need to stop it from getting any further than it has. And finally we need to start dismantling it. They've taken too many steps forward, it's time to push them back a few paces.
“Mindless rabble”. A perfect example of how leftist elitists think. They’re the only ones “smart” enough to be entrusted with votes.
This article should be e-mailed to everyone who voted for or supported Scott Brown. They need to know what their opponents think of them.
Amen to that, neighbor- remember what Bill Buckley said about "rather be governed by the first hundred names in the phone book than the Harvard Faculty?
Here's what a friend of mine said a while back:
"Roger Simon misses the point. He may be sitting around waiting for a charismatic character on a white horse to lead the masses, but I'd prefer a normal, uncharismatic person that doesn't have delusions of grandeur or starts believing in the press bullshit that they're the next Messiah. I'd rather have a wastewater treatment plant operator, a cattle rancher, or a diesel mechanic than somebody who has spent their life in politics manipulating people. I want somebody who can look at things like cap and trade and instead of moaning about "green jobs", wants to know what will happen to all the other jobs? ...I want somebody who has made decisions that had actual consequences to their lives and their fortunes (not just somebody elses) and lived and learned from/with those same consequences."
We mindless rabble can't figure out the problems of the world.
But, but, wait, how come you BIG BRAINS can't figure out how to win an election in a liberal state?
Cuz YOUUUU are so SMARRRRT.....
Typically arrogant, liberal fool.
Massachusetts just elected one of them to the Senate.
Poor Blooger [sic] must have been in mommy and daddy's basement too long.
Yup. He got dunked in the toilet and he’s still a dumb sumbitch.
Well, that’s a simplistic response. S/
Grant, cud yu pleez stop usin them big werds?
I’ll take the W.V. hillbilly any day of the week.
So the author of this drivel worships the bowing, finger flipping, teleprompter reading affirmative action Kenyan squirrel who had to go to chi-town to learn to “speak negro” as his personal intellectual Messiah?
He deserves that swirly. Make that a dirty swirly.
Reading the entirety of this jerks post tells me that it would be a small step for him to argue that it would be ok to cut out that intermediate step, you know, the voting, and just let the "people who have dedicated their lives to understanding how the world works" run the show into the future.
We need leaders with WISDOM, not INTELLECT.
Is that a real word - and if so, what on earth does it mean?
I guess a gun-totin', red meat eatin', bitter clinging conservative like me isn't sufficiently versed in "big words" to know what it means.
He'p me, somebody...
