We've received several independent and disturbing reports of voters across the state being handed ballots that are already marked in favor of Scott Brown. This is obviously a serious violation, and our legal team is taking immediate steps to protect the integrity of this election.
We do not yet know why this is happening, but you and everyone you know needs to be aware of the situation so that you can carefully inspect your ballot. If a vote has already been marked, you must return the ballot to the elections official, demand a clean ballot, and call our Voter Protection Hotline at 617-351-6866.
Not that Scott needs it, but we should’ve just gotten some thugs to stand out front with bats and intimidate voters. DOJ has sanctioned that behavior.

1) Hand it in as marked and then complain later
2) Mark your choice in addition to the one already marked and hope your vote overrides the previously marked one.
3) Report the problem to the election judge, deposit the previously marked ballot in the "spoiled ballot" box, request a new ballot and vote for the candidate of your choice.

they screwed up the date on the ballot but the way they look at it is that they will now redorder state recount and then another recount thus dragging this on for month

Non Issue. Local news just reported that a total of 5 out of two million ballots were pre-marked. The Coakley campaign is fishing for sharks in a bathtub.

Are the ballots pen marks or punched. If this is punched, then I would worry. The punch machines I have used do not make a double punch evident. I believe I would have easily noticed a previously pen-marked ballot.
It might be easy for a voter to overlook a pre-punched ballot. We have already heard a report of pre-voted ballots FOR Coakely. Notice that if a ballot is pre-punched for a candidate, then it will become double-punched and invalid only if the OTHER candidate is voted. This report could be to provide cover when a large number of ballots are rejected as double-punched. The MSM will jump on this and claim that ALL double-punches must have been attempts to steal Coakely votes.
