Martha Coakley won't make it into the Senate. Her incompetent and obtuse campaign revealed she is the Massachusetts Hindenburg. She neither understood politics or how to make a case to the voters. She crashed and burned spectacularly. They'll be teaching about her in schools as an object lesson in how not to run a campaign.

I totally agree but I think this is also ObamaCare and the dirty secret is a loathing of Obama by a LOT of voters. It is a secret because no one wants to be called the R word.

It wasnt the Hindenburg or the Titanic. It was the Hindenburg crashing into the Titanic. Lovely metaphor. But it's not all Coakley, either. People hate ObamaCare and are starting to dislike the politically tin-eared Obumbler, too.

It says a lot about the Democrats they felt obliged to save someone who messed everything up. They should have cut her loose.

This tells me a lot about why her “support” has been so lukewarm. From outside the area, it isn’t obvious that she is not simply uninspiring, but also such a colossal fumble bum.

>>Coakley will never recover from the self-inflicted damage of the worst political campaign in recent history. <<
As much as I would like to agree, that award is a tie between hilary clinton and John McCain.
This wasn’t the worst — just bad enough.

To even have some Purple People cheering on your Republican opponent... that’s got to be a kick in the head.

She ought to be disbarred. She should be certainly be disbarred for pursuing her witch hunt against Gerald Amirault, prolonging his prison sentence for three years after he was shown to be innocent.

A great Photoshopping opportunity presents itself. Here's a comparative photo of the Hindenburg and the Titanic.
And here's one of the Hindenburg crashing.
