Even on the biggest national stages, Tim Tebow seems to attract the spotlight.
Tebow will appear in a 30-second Super Bowl ad on Feb. 7 on behalf of the Christian group Focus on the Family, the organization announced on its Web site. His mother, Pam, also will appear in the ad.
Focus on the Family, a non-profit Christian organization, is not elaborating on the commercials message, but the story is expected to detail the Tebows pro-life message in line with Christian faith.
Pam Tebow contracted amoebic dysentery while on a Philippines mission, and the bacterial infection sent her into a coma. Upon recovery, doctors urged Pam to have an abortion because of the damage to her body. Tebow was born healthy on Aug. 14, 1987.
Tebow has been outspoken about his faith and inscribed Bible verses on his eye black on game days.
Jim Daly, Focus on the Family president and chief executive officer, said in a statement that the Tebows message about family comes at the right moment in the culture because families need to be inspired.
The commercial was shot in Orlando.

Separation of church and state! This is illegal, unconstitutional, despicable!
If you knew some doctor was recommending to kill you in the womb, you’d take the pro-life message personally too.
My father was a “mistake baby” born to a woman in her 40s. His closest sibling was 13 years old when he was born. Had abortion been culturally acceptable back then, he might not have been born which meant neither I nor my brothers and sisters would have been born, nor my nieces and nephew and their children. Abortion doesn’t rob just one life - it robs generations.
I’m not a Gator fan and I have my doubts Tebow will be a great NFL quarterback but his Christian testimony is spot on and props to FOTF for getting Super Bowl time to air it. Meanwhile, Budweiser will show more ads on horse flatulence while Snickers shows another gay kiss.
God has blessed Tim Tebow! Good for us, him and his family. BTW, most of the nasty comments were by a sad puppy that goes by ‘Jimmy’....the rest were not so bad, the few real nasty posts were the Godless/Immoral rantings from the blind leftist....not worthy of refutation. Never forget this Orlando paper is part of the failed Tribune dinosauer...as Michael Ledeen says about Iran failure, ‘Faster please’let’s apply to these crap papers and help them fail faster please!
Even though I stopped watching any and all professional sports, especially the NFL, I do have great admiration for Mr. Tebow and his message. He is very courageous. God Bless him.
My mom was pro-abortion too, but she decided to have me anyways. Abortion IS a personal issue for all of us under the age of 38.
“Abortion doesnt rob just one life - it robs generations.”
Now that is a message which needs to be on billboards all over the world. Combine it with the picture of your father and his entrie direct decendants behind him somewhat transparent, your mother beside him with each of them reaching their hands out to each other but not touching.
Whew! That is the first time I have seen or read that statement and it hit me like the moon falling on me. This needs to be elevated in a big way. I know people who have direct contact with the Tebows and I’ll do my best to get that message to them.
Wise men still seek Him.
What untold thousands of scientists, columnists, potential Presidents have been slaughtered in the womb!
“Abortion doesnt rob just one life - it robs generations”
Can I use this as my new tagline?
Reminds me of the scripture, Psalm 14:1 - "The fool says in his heart there is no God."
I checked you site. Your kids look like the kind I would like.
Be my guest.
cant wait to see it!
I'd be honored.
