BEWARE: SEIU’s Purple Army marches on Massachusetts
Michelle Malkin ^ | 01/16/10 | Michelle Malkin

They’ve dumped nearly a $1 million of rank-and-file dues into Martha Antoinette Coakley’s coffers.

They “pulled out all the stops” before the primary and they’ll be throwing all their ground troops into the Bay State over the weekend.

We know how the SEIU thugs operate. I told you in Culture of Corruption about Andy Stern’s organizational motto: “[W]e prefer to use the power of persuasion, but if that doesn’t work we use the persuasion of power.”

They’ll go after Boy Scouts.

And baby-sitters.

And home health-care providers.

They raided their treasury to pour $60-$80 million into Obama and the Democrats’ 2008 campaigns.

They’re not about to roll over and play nice while their 60-vote supermajority slips away.

Hotline On Call reports on the SEIU’s mobilization this weekend. Where are the counterforces?

SEIU has stepped up its involvement in MA in the waning days of the race, sending hundreds of volunteers and hundreds of thousands of dollars to the state on behalf of AG Martha Coakley (D).

The union, one of the most powerful arrows in the Dem quiver, is spending $685K on TV ads touting Coakley and slamming state Sen. Scott Brown (R), and a spokesperson for SEIU says it will have 300 volunteers on the ground on Tuesday.

The heightened activity has some GOPers on edge, and at least one group is worried SEIU could be taking over for ACORN as a top organizational tool benefiting Dem candidates.

“This whole thing is turnout, and this looks like the place the SEIU-ACORN folks turn on the turnout machine. They did it in Minnesota, successfully,” said David Norcross, chair of the Republican National Lawyers Association.

The RNLA will send its own volunteers to MA for Election Day, with plans to monitor polling places to prevent any fraud. The group got a tip that SEIU-sponsored buses would be taking voters to the polls, Norcross said. ***

Good idea for counterforces: The local police unions that spurned Coakley for Brown.

Let’s hope the Eric Holder-approved New Black Panther Party thugs aren’t on those SEIU buses.

Speaking of the New Black Panthers, Main Justice spotlights Malik Shabazz’s latest racist rant.

I’m surprised he hasn’t received an Obama czar appointment yet.

Have you heard the rumor that one guy who lives in MA had a brown sign on his front lawn. Someone stole the sign and left a note on the guys front door. The note said that he (the guy who took the sign) lives on a very busy street and will post the Brown sign on his front lawn.

ATTN CITIZENS OF MASSACHUSETTS - a great suggestion made by a FReeper yesterday was that retired military organizations, retired police organizations, VFWs, ANY GROUP who would be willing to protect our polling places, be contacted to man/woman the polling places, and follow the SEIU purple buses to make sure SEIU is not bussing the same people from one polling place to the next to duplicate their vote.

This is our time to put up or shut-up...we need to organize and protect the polling places...any more ideas?????

Mussolini had his infamous Fascist Blackshirts. Hitler’s Nazi thugs wore brown shirts. Now add purple shirts to the lawless totalitarian wardrobe: SEIU’s Purple People Beaters.

Same here north of Boston. I would estimate 20 Brown signs to maybe 1-2 for Coakley. Same goes for sign holders at intersections. Lots more Brown people than Coakley.

The difference between the AFL and the SEIU is that the AFL controls the politicians through their donations and voting block, the politicians control the SEIU through political contracts. The SEIU works for the politicians, not the other way around.

Interesting that their side isn’t worried about violence from the right, while our side is calling for video cams to document what we KNOW will happen to us!

What’s the saying?
“By their deeds ye shall know them..”

We know them all right.

Coakley loses one-in-five Democrats to Brown, while the Republican state senator has 94 percent of Republicans behind him.

That's the death knell right there.

I'm suspicious. Reminds me of this story:

A man in a busy parking lot hit an unoccupied vehicle, three of four people saw him do it. He got out, wrote a note, then left it on the windshield of the car he damaged. Everyone thought he was leaving his name, address, phone number and insurance information. Then one of the witness went and looked at the note after the man had left. The note said "Just hit and damaged you car. Sorry. Everyone watching me think I'm leaving you my name. They are wrong"

If there was any question, take a look at the recent incident where the goon pushed the reporter to the ground as Martha Coakley looked on. Notice the color of his sweater under his jacket.

Purple Army Indeed.

SEIU is an evil group of unionist thugs. They are making a concerted effort to unionize hospitals in New England, and the head of SEIU said that if a hospital resists, they will destroy their reputation and their relationship with their patients to achieve their goals.

One only needs to look at the gross intimidation and slanderous tactics they used against Beth Israel.

To get a good idea of who these despicable people are, what their goals are and who they are aligned with, read this article at National Review Online at this link: "Unholy Union" by Stephen Spruiell

SEIU isnt a union but the strongarm part of the Democrat party. Like the brownshirts, they take in the unemployable, give them a uniform, fill them with slogans, tell them they are a vital part of the country, tell them they can do what they want because the union will protect them. They have deep pockets, which is kind of strange because a lot of the members have low paying jobs. They also have no aversion to using violence to acheive their goals.
The SEIU will be THE national union, with all other unions paying homage to it. It will asborb all other unions in the name of unity.

Need to get a couple of young new-reporter to infiltrate the SEIU being bussed into MA and film some of their "actions". FOX would get it out immediately before the polls close.

Very few Coakley signs on people's property south of Boston. Don't know how it is in other places.

I live in southern NH and am in MA all the time. Yesterday I drove through Chelmsford and then spent the rest of the day in the north shore (Gloucester and Beverly). My kids and I made a game of counting the signs for each candidate. We saw one Coakley sign and many Brown signs.

Either that, or those are yard signs they’ve stolen out of people’s yards.

Beth Israel and other New England hospitals that are harassed by SEIU should refuse to treat ANY SEIU member or their relatives. Let ‘em sue.

Massachusetts Senior Citizens & Medicare Citizens, pay close heed. POTUS Barack Hussein Obama is not in your corner when it comes to Obamacare. His cute underhanded deal with the “Big” drug companies is costing you big time in reduced medical services and care and, is bringing you increased prescription drug cost ranging about thirty (30) percent higher. Case in point, I am on Coumiden (blood thinner) medication. A bottle of 75 count cost me $52.00 in 2009. I just returned from my pharmacy and the new price is now $80.00 for the same amonut of pills. Obama, the facist/communist/socialist, has cut a deal with the likes of Pharma (Drug Giant), Phizer (Drug Giant), etc. (shades of Germany in the 1930s) that will cause Obama to look the other way while they gouge our senior citizens with outrageous drug costs approved by Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat Party. In return the Drug companies agreed to support Obamacare. The AARP has been greased also with the same kind of deal. The AARP makes millions off retirees selling insurance at the oldster expense and AARP profit. Now, your little Masschusetts lady, Ms. Martha Coakley was raking in money for her Senate campaign from drug company lobbyists in Washington, DC, instead of campaigning for the senior folks votes in the great commonwealth of Massachusetts. You good oldsters up there in MA better get it that Barack Hussein Obama is no friend of aged folk at all. You are being taken big time. I suggest you send this flim/flam man a message next Tuesday, and sent Scott Brown to Washington, DC as your newly elected Senator.
