The policy dispute inside the Obama administration was revealed in a Dec. 22 letter from Chu to Peter Orszag

D00d...ORSZAG is the only fast breeder OMB needs...

This should tell you all you need to know about liberals, their war on energy and the climate change fraud.

Wonder if Orzag owns some large tracts of land that he will conveniently ‘sell’ to the government to store ‘once-through’ nuclear waste?????

likely to harden perceptions among industry officials and others that the administration is fundamentally anti-nuclear.

This is news?
We’ve known this all along.
Anti-nuclear, anti-coal, anti-oil...
Anti-American.

I had a brief conversation with a nuclear energy executive before the Inauguration and he was rather enthusastic and optimistic about the prospects for his industry and concurrent innovation in the Obama Administration.

Wonder what tune he’s singing now.

“appear likely to harden perceptions among industry officials and others that the administration is fundamentally anti-nuclear.”

No surprise, hasn’t Obama explicitly said so in the past?

Yes I agree. At first I thought he was just arrogant and stupid but as time goes on I'm believing he is pure evil. And I don't use that word lightly. Opposing this research should reveal just what this man is all about. Opposing this promising research is madness and Chu knows it.

I've thought for awhile that Chu was a clown and not the right man for Sec of Energy. But now even a guy like Chu should have no illusions about what his boss is.

If Chu had a backbone and was a true patroit, he'd resign over this issue. He doesn't need the job and this would serve to highlight this issue.

This needs to be a bigger story. It's so damn important.

It must be truly bad when a radical like Steven Chu is upset by obama’s policies.

He’s going to be singing for money beside an open guitar case at the metro entrance by the time obama’s first term ends.

Why is the OMB (Office of Management and Budget) determining our energy research projects? ...............

They don’t want “green energy”,

they want the serfs using NO ENERGY. It makes us easier to control.

Mark my words, if any “green energy” becomes viable, they’ll find some reason why we can’t use it.

uh... didn’t take me but a minute to find this headline:
“Feinstein Seeks To Block Solar Power From California Desert Land”

China knows future energy production will be primarily nuclear and is moving fast in that direction.

Meanwhile, Obama pushes “renewable” technologies that will never be sufficient and rely on third world countries for raw materials.

In ten years China will be selling their nuclear technology to the world and the U.S. will be a second rate economic power. Thanks to Obama and his lefty cadre.

Stop Nuclear Power, Stop Drilling and Kill the use of Coal yes that will cripple 85% + of America's need for additional energy.

What he going to do get out the hamsters to generate power?

You know it’s real bad when nutcase Chu complains about something like this coming from OMB and Obama.

it is utterly mind boggling that the one issue the lefties have had against nuclear power ( so they said, anyway ) wuz dat the nuclear waste storage, and its half life decay time was in thousands of years.
now, that this new technology that can defuse this “concern” is available, guess who punts? the ONE.
i thought it was not possible for him to make me like him less, and he keeps coming up with ways to do that, in spades.
