Frum sees him as an antidote to the Tea Party madness:
Strong on defense and school choice, opposed to the Obama administrations signature initiatives, Brown voted in favor of Mitt Romneys health plan in Massachusetts. He describes himself as pro-choice (subject to reasonable limitations), accepts gay marriage in Massachusetts as a settled fact, and told the Boston Herald editorial board he would have voted to confirm Sonia Sotomayor.

I dunno. McLame is supporting Brown, which does lend some credence to Frum’s allegations.
This race is a referendum on ObamaCare and one party supermajority rule, nothing more and nothing less.
As long as he wins and then crshes Barry and the Dems hopes of shoving ObamaCare down our collective throats, I’ll worry about the rest of his garbage carry-on afterwards.
It is absolutely stunning how FREEPERS are trading principles over a win. Just two months ago, everyone was swearing NEVER to support a RINO and here we are...very tragic and sad. One positive...I don’t have to be in the position to vote for this election. I was unfortunately in the position when voting for Senator of Pennsylvania years back when I had to vote for the Scottish Guy :) However, there was not the screaming NO RINOs back then. Today I would never vote for Arlen Specter!!!
Is Frum truly so delusional that he sees Brown as a Tea Party “antidote” rather than as an example of just how far Tea Party sentiment has moved Massachussetts electoral politics rightward toward the center?
Brown’s a decent guy who’s wrong on a few items, but it’s less about Brown than it is about kicking the Kennedy cult, the lockstep media, and the Obamanation to the curb.
In war as in life, it is often necessary when some cherished scheme has failed, to take up the best alternative open, and if so, it is folly not to work for it with all your might.- Winston Churchill
Oh, he's got some warts, that's for sure. But if he'll de-rail this disasterous power grab by the D's, we need to support him, just with the knowledge that this guy is far from perfect.

I think in this case, assuming Brown is a RINO, there is no choice but to support him. He is our only immediate hope to put the brakes on the Obama agenda.
You posting history indicates your posturing as a "Conservative/" is specious. You only direct your outrage one direction and that direction never involves attacking the Leftists for anything.
Everything is relative. Brown is much more liberal than we would like, but he is infinitely preferable to the Satanic Martha Kookly.
Are you expecting something different from Massachusetts? Some RINOs are inevitable.

I am not sure if I would care if Brown himself personally ripped a baby out of a woman’s womb.
It’s Massachusetts, and a conservative won’t win. Period.
Never.
That said, he is center-right, and that’s good enough for me.
As long as he is not as liberal as Snowe or Collins that is. They are my limits. I can take McCain or something, but they are too much.
Sen. Brown is the antidote to Frum’s and Romney’s
poisoning of Election2008.
Of course RINOs are wrong, but would you rather have Martha Coakley in that position, esp. at this time?
