Wow. Wow. Wow. Not a surprise "Wow." But like "wow" is Senate candidate Martha Coakley so politically unaware that she just said what all those liberals actually think about religious people.
Martha Coakley said on the radio that she's against conscience protections and then added in answer to a question about Catholics in particular:
"you can have religious freedom but you probably shouldnt work in an emergency room.
So what she's saying is that you can believe whatever you want but you have to do what the government tells you to do. So you can have your religion as long as it doesn't affect your life.
I can't imagine this will help her chances in Catholic-heavy Massachusetts.
Check out the video at CMR.

“Liberal dumbasses shouldn’t work in congress.”
They’re not dumb, they’re psychotic. The worst part is that they were elected by fello psychotics in the electorate.
IMHO
She ought to be careful: Catholics might decide to take her up on her offer and stop working in ER’s. If they do she had better hope for perfect, accident-free health. ER is already stretched thin: losing large nbumbers of Catholic staff for stupid ideological reasons could mean the difference between her getting treated promptly or being triaged out.
“Martha Coakley said on the radio that she’s against conscience protections”
Can’t protect what you don’t have. What a stupid b!tch.
The GOP needs to get an ad on the air, featuring JFK and how he overcame anti-Catholic bigotry to become POTUS. Then play Coakley’s comment and point out that 50 years later she thinks Catholics are unfit to even work in emergency rooms.
You can have religious freedom, you probably shouldnt work in the emergency room - Coakley

My legal take.
Martha Coakley......
I really think she is prematurely senile and loopy. It got her this far but no further due to being the object of national scrutiny. Not just the lib media of Massachusetts
As far as I know abortion is the only medical procedure Catholic doctors and nurses might object to. How abortion ties into the emergency room is beyond me....
Martha Coakley...she’s senile
my comments are for those of the Bawney Fwank persuasion and other lib types up your way.....I come from a state that is as bad or worse than yours....the 30% conservative populations are good conservative stock....and unfornuately outnumbered by the anti-constitutional traitors and their ‘without-a-clue’ lackies, known as swing voters...
Probably the best hospital care I’ve ever seen has come from Catholc Hospitals. God is in the business of comfort, help, and healing (as Jesus said, “I have come to give life and that more abundantly”). The liberals (like the thief also mentioned by Jesus in the gospels) are in the business of killing, stealing, and destroying. The liberals stand for hateful things.
How can anyone try to reason through this, I have three words that describe her...nutjob...NutJob...NUTJOB!!!!
Unfortunately, she will fit perfectly in place with Pelosi-Reid and their ilk. Peas in the same pod.
My prediction - if Brown doesn’t win the initial count by 7%, he loses. The rats/unions/communist crooks already have the ballot boxes stuffed and enough absentee ballots to blow up a 7 point lead. It will take 6 months before a winner is declared after all the recounts and legal challenges. Coaxley and totus win by a hair. We have seen the last fair and honest election in this country. We have achieved 3rd world status.....red
Prescribing birth control and performing sterilization procedure would probably be the only others, but these, like elective abortions would very rarely, if ever, be an issue in an emergency room.
I can't believe the poll numbers show this race as being close.
Don't be so sure. After a few years of rationed Obamacare, we'll probably be snuffing people right in the Emergency Room if their too far gone. Humanely. Like you do with horses.
It’s great that this stuff comes out and helps us and Brown win and defeat communism.
What I’d like to see, however, is something that lets us know this kind of quote gets used in an ad, and is further than just letting the choir know about it here.
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, then it likely wasn’t heard by anyone. Same thing here, if she said it and we don’t get the liberal catholics to know about it, then it doesn’t matter.
Can anyone confirm Brown’s camp has used this?
I fear you may be right. That is their modus operendi: if it is close, they can manufacture enough votes to win. In fact, didn't someoine write a book about that?
And idiot’s should not run for the US Senate...
