KOTZEBUE FISH DROP AND REFUELING

Ahh.... the mysterious Vog! It's been thick for the past month save two days. Today has been strange, swirling winds and cool temperatures but that hasn't moved the Vog away a bit. But it did move our plovers to more pleasant areas...

The smart idea is to ignore the weather news on the radio and trust the plovers. If they don't show up for work in the morning, neither should you.

Not a bad day today, even though Moxie wouldn’t start.
It was -10 here this morning, and it was just too much for the old battery she had, so she has a new one.

I had been ill with a stomach bug for a few days, but am better now.
