ILLINOIS ELECTION CENTRAL
We need names, positions, platforms, news articles, statements, pictures. We need to separate the RINOS from the Conservatives, and most of all, we need to get the liberals of either party OUT!
We can do this if you help. I have started this thread. All you have to do is contribute a little time and a little research. Help us help this country, and between us, we WILL take our country back!

Was listening to Rusty Humphrey last night. A Senatorial candidate was on. Makes me wish I was back home so I could vote for Patrick Hughes. He’s an uber conservative Reagan Republican. Kirk leads him by 20 points. Coakley led by 30 points. I wish I was there to fire up folks to vote for him in the primary, which is 9 days away only. I have been researching Kirk, since V & other’s have said he’s a RINO.
Boy is he! He votes with the “Other’s” a majority of the time. And on VERY important issues, like healthcare etc.
Illinois needs to take a page from MASS. Hughes doesn’t have the party backed Kirk’s cash. I wonder if his word is getting out? Independents & Dems liked Reagan, it would help if they knew he’s a Reagan Conservative.
Otherwise, if they feel Kirk is a shoein, they may cave & not bother to vote.
Come on Illinois. Time is short. Let a Reagan conservative get Obama’s old seat!!!

Pat Brady, the Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party, says the anti-Mark Kirk element within the GOP is ‘fringe.’
That’s actually not quite true and is precisely why so many conservatives in Illinois don’t like Brady or Kirk — they feel repeated disrespected and treated as fringe.
In fact, considering how active the Illinois Tea Party movement is in opposing Kirk, Brady is, in effect, calling all of those activists fringe. He might want to be careful.

The Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) is a prized jewel of our national ecosystem. Congress should work to preserve this environmental sanctuary. I remain strongly opposed to drilling for oil in the ANWR. The House budget does not provide funding for Alaskan oil drilling. As we move toward budget reconciliation, I will work with my colleagues to keep the Alaskan wilderness pristine and untouched.

Quite Frankly what happens with ANWR should be a state issue. How many people have actually been there? States should be able to use their natural resources to generate revenue instead of begging the Federal Government for money.
As an Alaska resident, I agree. However, the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge is controlled by the feds 5000 miles away.
The plan to explore and drill is sound.
