According to Public Policy Polling group, the race is looking like a toss-up, with Brown up 48-47 percent over Coakley........
Massachusetts Republicans fear that if their candidate for U.S. Senate scores an upset victory in the special election next week, Democrats in the state and in Washington will drag out the certification process just long enough so that he won't be able to block health care reform.
Brown told Fox News on Tuesday that he's concerned Democrats will stall the certification process if he wins, so that the U.S. Senate can approve the health care reform bill before he gets there.
"When I heard ... the machine, not only locally but nationally, is trying to manipulate the process and make sure that if I'm elected, a duly elected senator, I can't be seated in an effort to vote on this important piece of national legislation, it made me almost sick to my stomach," Brown said.

The GOP ‘fears’ this will happen? The Dems have already said that’s what they’re going to do.
This would be dictatorship at its best.
Don’t get sick, get even.
If the dems attempt this, they will have jumped
the shark in Amerian politics.
why is there a special election anyway. I thought they were going to change the law to allow the governor to pick the senator
If the Senate does not swear him in immediately, the Republicans should shut it down until it does.
What are the rules (not that the Dems will necessarily follow them)?
If Brown wins, can Coakley stay in until he is certified? Surely she would lose her seat if she loses the election, no?
If she loses, then the Dems would still only have 59 votes out of 99. Is that enough to impose cloture? or is it 59 votes out of 100?
In other words, it seems as if it’s a matter of when Coakley leaves as well as when Brown is sworn in. What the rules are in a case like this, I have no idea.
I heard him say this last night on FOX, but don’t the ‘Rats still need 60 votes? Plus they can’t wheel Bobby Byrd in forever.
Never fear. He won’t win. They’ll have buses with illegals voting 3, 4, 10 times and ACORN will have Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck casting votes. The PA thugs will be brought in to make sure regular citizens vote the correct way or will be taught a lesson. If the results are close, final numbers will be manipulated. Brown will be soundly defeated and all will be right in the Alinsky administration.
They’ve been doing crap like this pretty much since they got power. What makes you think things will change now? The media will, somehow or another, sweep it under the rug and the American people will be none the wiser (except for those of us who watch Fox).
Republicans have a long history of complaining about and not doing anything because they want to take “the high road”.
And now the Democrats have a lying, cheating bastard in the Oval Office and they control both houses of Congress.
So much for the “high road”.
The idiots who run the RNC and the GOP should be driven from office and replaced by players who have a complete set of testicles, a backbone and some guts.
You can count on it happening!
They are truly vile people!
Coakley is not the Senator. The current Senator is a place-holder Kennedy sycophant who was appointed by the Governor. He will vote the way he is told to vote.
They should be scared.

Lets win first shall we????
Pelosi got John Garamendi sworn in the day after the election, which was to replace Tauscher. He was flown overnight to Washington.
His name is Paul Kirk;he’s already said if Brown wins he’s going to stay to vote for Obamacare anyway. If the reps had any guts, they’d have him removed from the floor and arrested for criminal trespass since only members are allowed on the floor of the chamber.

I cannot find any redeeming factors in Michael Steele.
