I would also point out that almost all if not all of the ethics cmomplaints against Palin began AFTER she was picked as the VP running mate...her numbers had already been in a precipitous 2 year decline so you can’t blame them.

According to a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, 69 percent of Republican voters say the Alaska governor helped McCain’s bid for the presidency. Twenty percent of GOP voters said she hurt the ticket, six percent said she had no effect, and 5 percent were undecided.

91 percent of Republicans have a favorable view of Palin.
65 percent of Republicans have a very favorable view of Palin.

It's one thing to bring up some cogent arguments about why one has doubts about her electability. It's another thing altogether to merely repeat loony left propaganda from the State Run Media, without anything to back it up.
I have had it with the constant “she is not electable to the WH” from the anti-Palin bots, who have continued to repeat that same nonsense at least a thousands times in every Palin thread they can find. It's fast gotten old.
The fact of the matter is that the polls simply don't back them up, yet oblivious of the polls, or reality, they continue to spread as much disinformation as they can anyway

The groupthink is the same bunch of small, but determined, anti-Palin fanatics, who continue to spew the same propaganda on every Palin thread they can find. And they tend to move in packs, and more often than not, ping each other to come spew out their same left wing talking points and attack anyone who takes them on. Uhh, when you start with 90+% that ain’t too good. I asked the question before but I doubt it wil be answered, what happened?

I can tell you what happened, Palin didn’t deliver on many of her promises. She promised to shrink the size of governemnet but her last (2nd..heheh) budget was 9% higher than the previous year.

Palin talks a good game but doesn’t deliver the goods. She’s all smoke and mirrors. Now some people like smoke and mirrors, I don’t.

The hierarchy of the GOP gave their thumbs-down disapproval for this man, and their lackeys plus the media acted accordingly, blocking stories favorable to him or encouraging disinterest--"not well-known, a dark horse", "not impressive"(meaning not flashy). Whether he could have won against the Chi-ACORN machine is a question mark, just a hypothesis. Far too many conservatives dismissed him with, "Who?" "Nobody knows him", "he can't win!" Licked before you start. [snip] His name is Duncan Hunter, was Lt Col Marine in Vietnam.

He was a Lieutenant in Vietnam, and the reason that he never took off is the same reason that no one knew about him during the 28 years that he was a congressman, it was the same reason that he was barely known in California, it was the same reason that he never ran for the Senate, or the Governorship, he was meant to be a good conservative in a safe congressional district, not a national figure.

Palin went from a fantastic 69% the day before the national media went after her to a very good 56% the day she resigned just over a year later, an enviable record.

Currently the average approval rate for republican governors is about 51% and the average for democrat governors is about 41% according to this weeks PPP report using 33 Governors that he could find current data on.
