Not necessarily. One could also "fundamentally change America" in a host of other ways.
Make it a Ron Paul libertarian paradise.
Set up feudalism.
Return to the original meaning of the Constitution.
That is not, of course, what Obama and his followers have in mind.
I would contend, however, that we need fundamental change, depending, of course, on your definition of "fundamental." It's just not the type of change Obama wants.
“Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.”
I’d just as soon keep my freedom. You can keep the change. Thanks.
Nice Jim. Exactly right.
Obama said he was for “laying a new foundation for the economy”.
When you lay a new foundation, the old one necessarily has to be destroyed.
1 Cor 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
W need to start fighting before the battle is over.
“O” has an understanding of America (if he has one at all) which is stunted and deformed.
He demonstrates perfectly what you get when you permit your educational system and media to get themselves commandeered.
At the beginning of the last national election I thought...hmmm...”Obama is running for the DNC nomination... Great!!!...That’s what America is about, and about time-too! Good for him!!”
Then I saw the Rev. Wright video. Well, I had a little knob up there in my head-called ‘Obama’ and I just reached up there and turned it off.!!! I thought the rest of America would too.
As it is unfolding, everything he does and says is in perfect harmony with the whole Rev. Wright mentality. How could it have been any different and why is anyone surprised??
But the Marxist college professors, left leaning reporters and Hollywood writers and do not.
EXACTLY
I am not surprised by what is going on.
Early in the primary when I first heard Obama speak, I felt enganged. I actually believed his hope and change speak on a core emotional level.
Then I started to really analyze what he was saying and then I started to really get frightened. I actually had sleepless nights over what I thought was coming, and now actually see happening.
Well, America was founded on the concept that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, and we established a constitution to defend and preserve those rights and to severely limit the powers of government.
Among our unalienable rights are the rights to Life and Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Also the rights to freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of speech, freedom to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievance. Also the right to keep and bear arms for defense against government tyranny!
Amen to that!
Get rid of Obama and don't let him have another term in office. It was bad enough that he got this one term, as it is.
And let's get back on board with a majority in Congress... :-)
We gotta get back on board.
When Obama kept using that phrase during the 2008 campaign it made me cringe because I knew what was coming.
The idea of “fundamental change” should have scared the hell out of people. The implication of the term is, roughly, tearing something down to its foundations and starting over. So what are we throwing out exactly? The rule of law? The concept of private property? All individual rights?
Unlike the Clintons, who are smart, cynical opportunists, Obama is a true believer. He's bent on destroying America the Oppressor.
