WASHINGTON -- The nation's first black attorney general is defending Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid over racial remarks about Barack Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Eric Holder tells The Associated Press that Reid is a good man, and as Holder put it: "I don't think that there is a prejudiced bone in his body."

Big Media did a good job convincing many Americans that GWB was stupid, incompetent and, if he could be President, then obviously ANYONE could do the job. Thus, America voted for ANYONE in the form of Zero. I know people who voted for him because they thought it would be good for minorities if a minority was elected. I would say ‘but he has no experience, what if he can't do the job?’ All I would see was a blank stare. I told the former friends that he spent 20 years in a church where the American ideal was denigrated; his mother, grandparents and his mentor were Communists, etc. They just didn't think any of that was relevant. We are now paying the price for the calculated ignorance of the American public, courtesy of Nationalized Education and it's complete Left wing indoctrination.

Can Harry Read?
For no apparent reason, Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, the Democrats’ new leader, is denouncing Justice Clarence Thomas. Here’s an exchange from Tim Russert’s interview with him on “Meet the Press” yesterday:

Russert: Let me turn to judicial nominations. Again, Harry Reid on National Public Radio, Nov. 19: “If they”—the Bush White House—”for example, gave us Clarence Thomas as chief justice, I personally feel that would be wrong. If they give us Antonin Scalia, that’s a little different question. I may not agree with some of his opinions, but I agree with the brilliance of his mind.”

Could you support Antonin Scalia to be chief justice of the Supreme Court?

Reid: If he can overcome the ethics problems that have arisen since he was selected as a justice of the Supreme Court. And those ethics problems—you’ve talked about them; every people talk—every reporter’s talked about them in town—where he took trips that were probably not in keeping with the code of judicial ethics. So we have to get over this. I cannot dispute the fact, as I have said, that this is one smart guy. And I disagree with many of the results that he arrives at, but his reason for arriving at those results are very hard to dispute. So—

Russert: Why couldn’t you accept Clarence Thomas?

Reid: I think that he has been an embarrassment to the Supreme Court. I think that his opinions are poorly written. I don’t—I just don’t think that he’s done a good job as a Supreme Court justice.

I can’t help but wonder how a Republican Senate majority leader would have been treated by the mainstream news media if he had made it clear he didn’t want no coloreds appointed to fill the Illinois U.S. Senate seat recently vacated by Barack Obama. According to Illinois’ impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich, D, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid , D, called to ask that the governor not appoint any of the leading African-American candidates seeking that seat.

Reid revealed himself as a soulmate of Pennsylvania Gov. Fast Eddie Rendell, D, who argued during last year’s Democratic presidential primary that conservative Democrats might not vote for a darkie. Reid worried that labor union Democrats would recoil from a candidate with a name like “Jesse Jackson Jr.” in the 2010 election and the Democrats would lose that seat.

Of course, if those racist union members were to see and hear videotape of former Clinton Administration Labor Secretary Robert B. Reich, D, and Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., trying to formulate the Democrats’ economic stimulus plan in such a way that the money would not benefit “white construction workers,” it wouldn’t matter who the Democrat fielded as a candidate.
