Scientific fraud often ends up killing people. Joseph Stalin's fraudulent "agronomist" Trofim Lysenko caused harvest failures when Soviet agriculture was ordered to follow his bizarre pseudo-science. "Scientific Marxism" killed 100,000,000 people, according to Marxist historians themselves.
The medical truth about the AIDS epidemic, that it was communicated by anal intercourse, especially among men, was suppressed for decades, causing thousands of more young men to die. And now it seems that the global warming fraud, just one aspect of broader EcoFraud, is killing people in the Third World. The proximate cause? A doubling of food prices. Why? Because of the diversion of food crops to biofuels.
In a letter to Australian PM Kevin Rudd, Lord Christopher Monckton writes:
"Millions are already dying of starvation in the world's poorest nations because world food prices have doubled in two years. That abrupt, vicious doubling was caused by a sharp drop in world food production, caused in turn by suddenly taking millions of acres of land out of growing food for people who need it, so as to grow biofuels for clunkers that don't. The scientifically-illiterate, economically-innumerate policies that you (Kevin Rudd) advocate - however fashionable you may conceive them to be - are killing people by the million."
Read the whole letter. These frauds take their toll in the Third World long before we see the effects in prosperous nations. For us the fraud is a luxury. For them it's survival.

How about the fraud that caused DDT to be banned. That has resulted in the deaths of tens of millions of people, and liberals are responsible (although the EPA, a creation of the Nixon administration, was in the driver seat for this)
They left out the millions who die yearly due to malaria because the left has decreed DDT to be an evil.

Here is the thing, why isn’t “the Market” filling the excess demand for more grains?
Prices are higher, it would seem to be a good time for the sancitifed Market to start showing some additional production to meet the demand.
At least, that is how market theory supposedly works?

I think there should be a serious effort to determine some way to bring formal charges against Gore and the people who have committed this monumental fraud. The diversion of crop land to grow biofuel crops was just insane especially in light of the fact there are huge reserves of oil and natural gas in our own country that have gone untapped.
They should pay for the damage they have done and pay big.
It would be interesting to note how long the libs would survive with just themselves to depend on. Let them starve/freeze/die for all of the misery they cause.
The market is distorted by legislation that creates a perverse incentive to divert production to biofuels. Remove those perverse incentives and the market will head in the right direction.

How about emissions testing on top of all their other failures. The Great Society? or the Welfare State.

Ric Edelman had a great story this morning on his radio show. He was invited to speak at a class of kids about proper investing and fiscal responsibility.
One kid asked the teacher what he did and the teacher said he followed none of Ric’s advice, he was strictly in CDs.
Ric said he undid an hour of his work with one statement, then added “We have to teach the teachers first”.
CD = Certificate of Despair, their for losers or people dying.

We’ve known for a very long time that AIDS is primarily spread thru anal sex.
The conspiracy was to hide any discussion of how this ought to affect policy. For instance, keeping the bathhouses open for years after it became epidemiologically obvious they were AIDS factories.
Also to pretend “everyone is at risk” so that massive amounts of money would continue to flow for research.
