John McCain has run against Barack Obama before.
He's running against him again.
With campaign radio ads billing the five-term Republican senator as "Arizona's last line of defense,'' the GOP's nominee for president in 2008 is attempting to bolster his 2010 campaign for reelection to the Senate with a slam at the president.
"President Obama is leading an extreme left-wing crusade to bankrupt America,'' McCain says in one of the radio ads his campaign is airing.
"I stand in his way every day,'' McCain says. "If I get a bruise or two knocking some sense into heads in Washington, so be it.''

The only just punishment for the campaign he ran and its resulting damage to the USA would be imprisonment in a small Tiger cage for the rest of his days.

That’s right, Juan. Too bad you didn’t say so when you were running against him. Instead of saying that he was a nice guy, and forbidding anyone in your campaign from raising these basic issues.
It’s too bad McCain didn’t feel this way during his presidential campaign. Oh well, Sarah told him. He just didn’t listen.
I have always felt that mccain was tortured too much. shouldn’t this loser of a senator said something about nobama during his campaign against nobama? what a doofus.
Oh yes, it’s re-election time in AZ so he’s got to revalidate his conservative credentials for the AZ voters. I just hope the voters in AZ are not quite so gullible this time and get rid of that worthless skunk.
LOL. If he’d run like that in 2008, the election might have been closer. It’s not like it wasn’t obvious. Anyone who couldn’t see (in 2008) that BO was going to be a disasterous president was willfully blind.
Is McCain going to get primaried? I hope the voters of Arizona get a chance to vote for a real conservative!
Maverick is a slow learner. I’m tired of reading about how he’s recently got religion and, now that he’s caught on to what we all knew a year and a half ago, he’s ready to lead us. My computer’s “spam” button doesn’t seem to work on McCain’s emails. I wish he’d just vote no on all Dem legislation and keep his mouth shut for a change.
Maverick should leave us alone and work on getting his groupie, Lindsay Grahamnesty’s mind right. Lindsay is making nice with the ultra left wing and saying foolish things about cap and trade. He needs his attitude adjusted.
He needs to be replaced by a real republican.
McCain is the perfect example of: A stopped watch is correct twice per day.
