The left is behaving insanely. It's madness. This is well-established. But then there is this:
The chair of the GOP has announced that his party will not win back the House in 2010. Nor is he convinced the GOP is ready to lead. Michael Steele has issued a "call to arms for grassroots America." However, per a CBS News report, there is no listing for Sarah Palin in the index of Steele's new book.
Like the Dems', Steele's grasp of reality appears to be a strange one.
We also know that the major media outlets (save some of the reporting on FOX News) have been propping up the left for a long time. Over the past couple of years, they have eagerly lined up to strip any remaining shred of professional integrity in order to paint Barack Obama as the Savior-in-Chief. Meanwhile, the enemy is lapping at our shores and infiltrating the fiber of our country.
So where does all this leave us? I mean, besides angry. You know, mad. Very, very mad.

Guess they don’t hear us or just don’t understand us. We don’t want a third party, but the RNC needs to know that we want CONSERVATIVES who will fight in office.

Hey, we’ve HEARD your “call to arms”, Michael!
Only problem is, YOU think that means “send me money”
We the People, on the other hand, see it quite literally as a CALL TO ARMS.
And you, Michael Steele, are on the other side.
The OP(formerly the GOP) and the socialist RATs are two sides of the same coin thanks to the former becoming incrementally accepting of socialist principles to expand their voter base. We effectively have one big socialist Republicrat party system. Conservatives need to unite in a party based on strong Conservative principles to have any chance of returning the country back to the Constitution.
Steele has had problems (probably liberal) but he is right on the mark here with this. They are NOT ready to lead. So far the GOP’s only theme is ‘stop democrats’. That is good for the country, but not a majority position. Right now gridlock is our only hope. If republicans were in power they would be screwing us now.
Steele was very lucky to get this job at this time. Easy wins.
Any conservative who donates a dime to the RNC deserve to have their head examined. The RNC is NOT the friend of conservatism. In fact, it is doing everything it can to promote moderates over conservatives. That makes it as much an enemy as the Democrats.
Amen!
I haven’t trusted Steele since he went off on Rush.
Man50D: “Conservatives need to unite in a party based on strong Conservative principles to have any chance of returning the country back to the Constitution.”
Conservatives need to seize control of the Republican Party. We outnumber the moderates, and the Republican Party is our best path to victory (third parties are for losers). It can be done.
.......and that’s the reason the RNC will never see another dime from me until we get REAL leadership in the chairman’s position.....someone who doesn’t run hot and cold depending on which network he’s on. We don’t need a 3rd party, we need to give the RNC a political enema and take the party BACK from the RINO’S and moderates (liberals)!
RINO’s are in the leadership of the GOP I believe.
RINO’s are Leftists.
I believe the Leftist’s goal is to hijack the GOP as they did the Democrap party, and eliminate debate altogether.
America runs on debate like cars run on fuel. If their isn’t debate, there isn’t America. The Left wins.
That was all believed to be true in the case of the Rockefellers — leftists win from either party. A leftist dream lineup would have been JFK v. Nelson Rockefeller in 1964. I think though Steele is either incompetent or so caught up in MD liberalism that he can’t see the national picture. He is not a good reflection on the 150+ members of the RNC. But sadly it looks like he is here to stay. RNC chairman is now a well-paying job plus lots of perks.
....throwing them in the trash...
You should at least send the postage paid envelope back empty and make them pay.
Previous to his chairman position, I have always liked Michael Steele. I did not think he was a good fit at all for this position. I really wish Ken Blackwell had gotten it. He is a hell of a good spokeman for conservative issues and just comes across better. Steele is trying to hard to be a ‘buddy’ to the public and to media types, when we need a disciplined message.
When he got picked I realized the squishes are still in charge of the party, and sure enough, it is true.
He needs to go.
Mike Steel should be replaced by Sarah Palin as RNC Chairman.
