Conservatives need to seize control of the Republican Party. We outnumber the moderates, and the Republican Party is our best path to victory (third parties are for losers). It can be done.

Conservatives don't need the OP. The OP needs Conservatives precisely because we outnumber them as reflected in more polls showing the Conservative Tea Party movement has garnered more support than the OP. There can't be a third party when we currently have only a one party system.

The history of third parties is, and always will be, dismal in this country and would so fracture the GOP and conservatives that the Dems could rule until they could make enough laws to put conservatives in hiding and then have a new Soviet rule.
The current polls show true conservatives have more votes than the regular GOPers and thus we CAN take control of the party.
The RINOs are so afraid of this and talk about how this would lead to an electoral debacle but history has shown that candidates who run on true conservative principles and then follow the same, win.
