The number of U.S. metropolitan areas with jobless rates above 15% increased in November, according to government figures released Tuesday, despite the biggest one-month drop in the national rate in more than three years.
The Labor Department said 17 of 372 metropolitan areas surveyed suffered unemployment rates of at least 15% last month, up from 15 metro areas in October.
National unemployment improved to a seasonally adjusted 10% in November from the 26-year high of 10.2% hit in October. The rate had climbed for 12 out of the previous 13 months before November. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com expect the national rate to edge up to 10.1% when the Labor Department releases its December jobs report Friday.(continued)

I imagine the commies in the BO administration will say that it is “worse than we expected.” These dumb bass turds don’t “expect” anything! They are all incompetent morons.
Make that “I hope you can spare some change”.
It will get worse. Obamao has only had a year to improve it. He has three years to go, a lot to improve, and when he is done, we’ll be lucky if unemployment is below 20 percent.
...as Obama and his retinue return from their fourth lavish vacation in less than a year!
CNN, even their so called market and econ types, are not to swift.
Will our socialist/communist leaders and their RINO fellow travelers EVER get the message? If we ever want to make this country great again, we have to get back to old-fashioned good economics. People today expect TOO MUCH. It seems cruel to say it, but facts are facts: High wages actually hurt workers, gold-plated benefits are just as bad. The high taxes that support so-called “humane” social programs — and the dependency they generate — are BAD for all of us!
We need to have the guts to openly call for the ONLY agenda that can save America. We need, among other things to:
— Abolish all “entitlement” programs. Social Security and Medicare should be the first to go. Medicaid should be offered ONLY to those physically unable to work.
— Welfare should be VERY hard to get, run by the private sector, funded with VOLUNTARY taxes only, administered at the COUNTY level, and 100% tied to work and training for work.
— Get rid of collective bargaining “rights.” Unions are nothing but criminal enterprises and should be banned outright.
— Federal income tax should be capped at about a 10% flat rate.
— Eliminate the Fed and end the government’s monopoly on issuing currency.
— Devolve all business regulation to the state level, or even the county level.

It is left to the reader to determine which of those high unemployment areas are in Blue States vs. Red States...:^)
>>>California’s Inland Empire, including Riverside, San Bernardino and Ontario, ranked second to Detroit among larger areas with an unemployment rate of 14.2% in November.
El Centro, Calif., held its place as the metropolitan area with the highest unemployment rate at 29.2%, down from an upwardly revised 31.9% in October. <<<
Because CA is a state with a large amount of illegal immigration, is it possible that illegal immigrants collect unemployment?
Riverside is 48 % Hispanic according to the following demographics link:

Just wondering.
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
You betcha! Plus SSI, food stamps, Section 8 housing. They game the system. They're pros.
Does anyone there want a job?
Looking at these numbers, there is only one inescapable conclusion. Everyone should move to North Dakota.
“cities” = “corrupt, concentrated Democrat parasite nests”
Oh that’s a good one.
Plus that’ll all ease the ‘overpopulation.’
As when anyone complains about that I quip, ‘Have you ever actually driven through North Dakota/Montana/Wyoming?’
(No offense, envy you)
Well that’s what they get for voting 95%+ Republican election after election
LOL....Prolly not.
Thanks.
