Sen. Christopher J. Dodd (Conn.), a leading Democrat whose political star fell along with the nation's economy, is expected to announce Wednesday that he has decided against running for reelection this November, according to sources briefed on the decision. Dodd, in his fifth term, chairs the Senate Banking Committee. His retirement would be the second such announcement by a Senate Democrat in 24 hours; North Dakota's Byron Dorgan said Tuesday that he would not run this fall.

The amazing thing is that demoRATs almost NEVER retire from political office.....they just prefer to hang in there until they gasp their last treasonous lying POS breath of life and immediately pass into eternity, roasting in hell forever. For example when is Robert Byrd the old nearly comatose racist/turned commie pig EVER going to retire or kick the bucket. So in the meantime, it is a pleasure to watch some of the RATS like Dodd & Dorgan and hopefully others, anounce their retirement and GTH out of political life before screwing up our lives or our country any longer.

My dream has come true....can’t stand that guy. Can’t stand his voice, his attitude, and his looks. He has helped to terribly damage this country in many ways, and his exit cannot be too soon. Added to all of this...he is a coward; he knows he will lose in the next election.
He will probably become a seven figure a year lobbyist or open his own private “consulting” business (influence peddling for the well connected). These cockroaches always seem to land on their feet.

Bad news for us, I think. I wish our senators think and act this way. If only those Republican Senators in Alaska and some other states were thinking this way, we wouldn’t have faced the Dhim supermajority today...
