Two FBI agents have been shot at the FBI building at 300 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas police confirmed this morning.
Spokeswoman Barb Morgan said information is preliminary, but it appears two agents have been shot and a possible suspect also has been shot, she said. That suspect is in police custody.
“It looks like shots may have been fired inside (the building),” said Morgan. “We don’t know the details.”
The condition of the agents and the suspect is not yet known.
Morgan said it's unclear if police are looking for more suspects.

Heck no it’s not wrong! I am so sick of reading about repeat violent offenders getting the revolving door treatment in prisons I could care less if we started shooting all of them at strike two.

ABC radio news just said that it was one each, one Marshall and one “security officer” that were shot.
I don’t know... but my hunch is that somebody was going after a witness in a federal court case. Kindof a stretch to make this one about the ROP. They’d be more likely to shoot up a casino on the strip or a shopping mall than a federal courthouse in Vegas.

The large building, which also houses the offices of Nevada Senators Harry Reid and John Ensign, was being evacuated in case a second shooter on the loose.
The two victims were a court security officer and a deputy U.S. marshal.
They were according to recent reports Federal Protective Service Officers. Not US Marshals. And the FBI is on their way to gather evidence. FPS is part of Homeland Security.
Nah look for them to bring out Aunt Janet’s report on right wing malita’s and terrorists and to blame it all on Rush, Glen Beck, “right wing” talk radio and the right wing blogshpere. Perhaps they’ll get military tribunals if Christian right wing types. They are much more dangerous than Muslims and the Obama administration is at war with them and not the Al Queda and it’s kin.
Now if they were Black Panthers who shot the federal agents
you’d see Eric Holder & Co looking for ways the agents violated their civil rights and got what they deserved. That was already demonstrated when he dropped the charges against them in the voting rights (voter intimidation)case that justice had already won that he had dropped before the actual conviction.
Good shooting by whoever capped the perp. Prayers up for the victims and their families.

Depending on location, I sometimes run EMS on one speaker and police on the other.
