Two federal agents were hurt Monday when a shotgun-toting man opened fire inside a courthouse in downtown Las Vegas.

The fleeing gunman was shot in the head and killed across the street from the federal courthouse.

The large building, which also houses the offices of Nevada Senators Harry Reid and John Ensign, was being evacuated in case a second shooter on the loose.

The two victims were a court security officer and a deputy U.S. marshal.
