A lot of folks are making donations directly to their chosen canidates instead of to the RNC. Looks like it's starting to hurt them. I doubt they'll get the message.

Sounds like a plug for RNCC funding.

I’m avoiding that.

The only thing jeopardizing the Congressional races is M. Steele and RINO friends and the RNCC! - IMHO

That, and I’m guessing that millions of sco-called “Stimulus” money is making its way to DNC coffers, via the sham congressional districts and outright theft.

It makes my blood boil, but then again, nobody seems to care about it, so we just all float on.

"The National Republican Congressional Committee, the financial arm for GOP House campaigns, has raised less than a third as much money as its Democratic counterpart and ended 2009 with barely enough money to fully finance a single House race..."

A lot of folks are making donations directly to their chosen canidates instead of to the RNC. Looks like it's starting to hurt them. I doubt they'll get the message.

I've spoken with the RNC jerks several times.

My conditional $1,000 contribution was based on the RNC and GOP exposing Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Franks and Dodd as frauds and traitors.

The second condition was to duct tape McCain's mouth shut on granting amnesty to ILLEGAL aliens and enforcing the RULE OF LAW!

Very few in the RNC has ever heard of the United States Constitution.

Finally, Michael Steele is simply an appeaser to the democrats. They just don't get it.

That's right!

To paraphrase FOX News, we're tired of the "we donate and you decide" approach to selecting our candidates, we want to have a say in it ourselves.

We'd like to see a few candidates step up with America's interest in mind instead of their own.

It's turned into more of a competition for a high paying job, than an opportunity to serve the people and strengthen the country, and we're mostly tired of career politicians in all parties.

Career politicians are dangerous, they have become greedy and deceitful and have no respect for the people of America. They never seem to remember that not only do they support their own districts but they are congress for the entire country as well. A bought-and-sold vote from a Nebraska Senator can affect us all the way to Georgia, as we all well know of late.

Donations directly to the party makes it all into a "scorecard" of haves vs. have-nots, not what is best for the land.

I'll be sending all donations directly to my supported candidates this year, if the GOP can't deal with it, then they need to do some soul searching and possible house cleaning. Bernie Madoff woke up a lot of people to ponzi schemes.

Gee whiz, if only the GOP would listen to its base it wouldn’t have any money problems right now.

LOL...I guess next time the Republicans get into office, they’ll govern like conservatives.

Learn to win the game with less $$, fellas. You can do it.

I won't give money to people trying to enslave me.

That's just the way it is.

GOP Financial Struggles Jeopardize 2010 House Election Bids

Sounds like the NRCC sending nearly a $million down a Scozzafava rat hole got the attention of contributors, who are now asking themselves why would they give money to the RNCC instead of the Conservative candidates they like.

No doubt the "moderate" voters that the Republican leaders love, pander to, and want above all else, will soon be sending in scores of $millions and the Republican leaders will have more money than they can spend.

I think conservative candidates will have little trouble with fundraising. Too bad the RNC feels that IT will have trouble contributing to the likes of those lib lites they keep putting forth to run.

Despite evidence of solid opportunities in at least 40 districts this year, Republican incumbents have donated well below expectations

There will be several incumbents and a few GOP "sure things" that will be in for quite a surprise. And I do hope and believe that the "Tan Man" will be one of those.

I started doing that myself over 10 years ago. RNC supports too many RINOS.

They have called me for several years now begging for the type of support that I used to give them... they know why I no longer give and they have done nothing to rectify their liberalism that is causing their financial demise... and I now give directly to Conservative candidates... hey steele... WE ALL MEAN WHAT WE SAY!
