If you needed more confirmation that entrenched, nine-term incumbent Earl Pomeroy is in a lot of trouble in the upcoming election year (after ignoring his constituents and casting a vote for an unpopular health care bill this last year, among other things) I have the line on some private polling that shows Pomeroy floundering even against an unnamed opponent.

He should be tarred and feathered.
They all should be
How Earl Pomeroy has gotten (re)elected year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year, after year in a state like North Dakota is beyond me. He doesn’t even put up the pretense of being somewhat conservative come election time like Dorgan and Conrad, he is just far left all the time.
The dems and their state-run media are going to be pulling every trick in the book to save their butts this year. We have to be ready to counter them at every turn.
Sarah, this is your hinge-point in history. I’m paraphrasing Krauthammer here, who said the other day that the events in Iran are a hinge of history and that Obama is ignoring history and letting a huge opportunity go to waste.
2010 in America is similarly a hinge of history. There will never ever be another year like it. Not 2012, not 2016, not ever.
This is our ONE CHANCE to shove the MengeleHealthCare bill down the throats of the democrat party and the state-run media.
If you take advantage of this historical hinge, by campaigning hard for as many conservative Republicans you can in 2010, you not only participate in (and possibly push us over the top) a true American Revolution, but you coincidentally vindicate yourself with all those critics who called you a quitter last year. Because you wouldn’t be able to do that campaigning from the Alaska statehouse.
Help us Sarah Palin; you’re the leader we need right now.

BLUE DOG EARL
Tune: "Duke of Earl"
Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl

Of all the useless terms
Nothing can top the "Blue Dog" Earl
'Cause there, there is this girl
And Earl is her lap dog, oh, oh
Yes, Earl, Earl is Nancy's puppy, oh, oh
Pelosi's Pomeranian
Yes, he's her Lap Dog Earl
So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And, and Nancy told him:
"You'll be my lap dog, my Lap Dog Earl
You'll come when I call you
And a Porkulus we will share"
Yes, Earl, Earl is Nancy's puppy, oh, oh
Pelosi's Pomeranian
Yes, he's her Lap Dog Earl
So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl . . .
Yes, Earl, Earl is Nancy's puppy, oh, oh
Pelosi's Pomeranian
Yes, he's her Lap Dog Earl
So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl
Blue, Blue, Blue Dog Earl . . .
The Dems are all in trouble across the board.
Please, NoDak, run Doug Burgum!
For most farmers the most profitable piece of real estate they own is the mailbox.
You are so right about that! We Freepers in every state need to get active and get all our friends and family to be actively involved at the local level.
You think voter fraud as been bad in the past? This year it will be ten times worse as the Socialists know what is at stake!
Everyone needs to realize we must have poll watchers in every precinct in our cities and towns. We have to be ready for the massive voter fraud that will come with every election in 2010!
Just find the link to the Supervisor of Elections in your county and sign up to be a poll watcher. It is easy to do and it must be done! Let's not let members of ACORN be the only poll watchers at precincts in our cities and towns!
LOL! Looks like the vote is set to be “anybody but Pomeroy”. Going to be a race to see who gets to kick his ass.
Point taken but I think that farm subsidies aside, the folks of North Dakota are much more conservative than Pomeroy’s is. North Dakota’s oil, gas and coal industry is becoming as big a player in the state as Ag. The western part of the state doesn’t have nearly the DFL flavor of the eastern state. And my experience with the Dakotas (north and south) is that although there is a “got to help the small farmer” mentality there is much more of a pro-life, anti-union, low tax feeling then MN and WI.
We will know for sure in November but I think ND and SD will shift much more to the Right then MN, WI and IA.
