WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Transportation Security Administration on Thursday dropped its subpoenas it had issued to two Internet writers in its effort to find the leaker of an airline security directive.
The subpoenas were criticized by a leading journalism organization.
The TSA said the investigation is "nearing a successful conclusion and the subpoenas are no longer in effect."

It’s past time we all realized that the TSA has nothing to do with security.
*ping*
TSA, another bloated government bureaucracy that serves absolutely no purpose. I will amend that serves to give those who would otherwise be on welfare, a high paying job with benefits for doing nothing. IMHO

Janet probably left a copy on a park bench when she met up with .........
I think most of us have known from the outset it's just another Democrat jobs program. We'll see the total effect if Southers is appointed Administrator and sticks to his first priority of unionizing TSA. Imagine being late for a flight and having your TSA guardian glance at her watch and say "Sorry, break time. This gate is now closed."
It has everything to do with National Socialism.
No one laughed ~ not ever!

Since they got to look cool carrying a firearm, feel important boasting about getting a warrant (demonstrating their ‘authoritay’), and made a copy of the Blogger’s hardrive, I’d guess they have everything they wanted.... for today.
This is the second time in three weeks they have let secret info out to the public.
I think what you have is a growing number of discontents...who believed they hired up with a 4-star operation, and now question the whole “feeling” that they had back in November of 2008.
The team brought in thousands of players to the DC area...and they are now finding that the team isn’t as happy as they used to be. Let’s be honest here too...every single administration has run into this problem...and it’s not new. The Bush administration eventually got to it’s point of discontent.
No surprise there. The only thing the sour grapes subpoenas point out is that the TSA carelessly published an important security document that was rather easily picked up by two people without designated access to it. They did the country a favor, but TSA wants them punished/hassled because their action pointed out TSA’s latest failure.
Not only did the objections come from a journalistic source, I believe someone may have interjected a, “The TSA acted stupidly...”
America’s latter-day Gestapo labors under a major handicap, namely the light-speed spread of information whenever they try to disappear anyone. Once again, the fascist Obamunists folded faster than Superman on laundry day.
