If I lived in “Espoo”, I’d kill somebody!!

I don’t see anything new in the news.
I’ll check back in later this morning.
Thanks for posting this thread.
The country has 1.6 million firearms in private hands - with a population of 5.3 million.
Politicians, social workers and religious leaders have urged tighter gun laws, more vigilance of Internet sites, and more social bonding in the small Nordic nation, known for its high suicide rates, heavy drinking and domestic violence.”

From UK Daily Mail.
Funny how newspapers will never speculate about the role of Islam in the immediate aftermath of an atrocity but are happy enough to wade into the gun lobby.
Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
From the UK (No guns allowed)
NRA Finland
Kansallinen Kivääriyhdistys (National Rifle Association) of Finland founded officially on July 7th, 2006 to watch and protect the rights of the gun owners, who have about 1,700,000 guns. 540,000 people, which is 10 per cent of the total population of Finland, have license to own guns. It means, that Finland is the third in percentage in the whole World, the U.S.A. is the first, Jemen the second. Only 20 per cent of all homicides in Finland are done with guns and about half of it the gun used has been illegally owned (not licensed). Finland became as a member of the E.U. on 1995, then among numerous of others, the gun directive started to concern Finland, too. The legislation in Finland transferred to correspond with the 1991 directive of the E.U. and people still have the opportunity to own guns.

I believe that should be no legal weapons allowed.
But that’s just me...
Sello Mall is quite large IIRC. A very busy place with 3 or 4 sections with over 150 shops.

“It must dangerous in Europe...Im glad I dont live there.”
Not a problem here in Texas anymore. I was just eating dinner with some Northeasterners last night at a crowded restaurant and explaining that if someone tried anything cute, he’d likely have bullets coming at him from at least 5 directions.

I see on the video a commenter posts a name possibly of the shooter.
I can’t find anything like that on a news site.
Can you confirm the name of the shooter?

Best of luck there, but since the alleged shooter is protected species, there will be loud calls to go after all the guns instead.
My only advice is don’t give an inch on gun control and instead to get the debate where it’s needed (i.e., just why are Scandinavians inviting in so many of these people, and what exactly did anyone expect to happen).
This is what happens when Socialist countries start to grab guns. “Licensed” means confiscation and gun owners are afraid to carry for fear of losing their gun rights.
Thank you.
